(NOTE: Because this is a repaint, this is not a full-blown review. This mainly covers any changes made to the mold and the color scheme, and merely compares it to Classics Starscream. For a review on the mold itself, read the review of Classics Starscream here.)

Shattered Glass Thundercracker is a direct homage to G1 Action Master Thundercracker, who is known for having one of the most random, outrageous color schemes out of any Transformer. Thus, after quite a few fandom requests, the folks at Botcon re-used this popular mold yet again to re-create this ridiculously loud Transformer-- only this time, with an alt mode! Thundercracker's color scheme is purple, red, and BRIGHT green, with some blue and gold highlights (and a little bit of black so he's not 100% loud, I suppose). He looks like he's made out of Starburst, quite frankly. Now, the whole POINT of this toy being released in this color scheme was to be loud and clashy, so it's a bit fruitless for me to talk about how ugly of a color scheme it is. That said, I DO wish the purple and red more smoothly transitioned from one to the other in vehicle mode-- having half of the nosecone be purple while the other half is red-- and having the wings abruptly transition to purple from the red main body-- does make him look even more incongrous than he should. The gold head does look surprisingly good against the blue plastic used for some of the "connector pieces" in robot mode, however.
No mold changes have been made to Shattered Glass Thundercracker.
Either you like outrageously surreal and loud color schemes-- in which case this figure is right up your alley-- or you don't. Me, I like it in a kitschy way, but obviously this figure isn't for everyone, even among those who are willing to pay premiums for Botcon figures. Decide accordingly whether he's for you or not.

Thundercracker Bio:
FUNCTION: Vigilante Adventurer
MOTTO: "Nothing to fear here! It'll all be OK..."
A founding member of Colonel Deathsaurus' Mayhem Suppression Squad, Thundercracker abandoned his civilian post to oppose the Autobots as a resistance fighter. Jovial and friendly, he is the squad's "morale mechanism." He pities anything that cannot fly, though he uses mango-clamps to take friends flying whether they want to or not. He can create 50-meter wide zones of pure silence but prefers to fight using his cryonic blaster and drone rockets.
Recently, during a routine surveillance mission, Thundercracker picked up a signal coming from the prison at Paradron. He couldn't be sure, but could it be that some type of jailbreak was in progress?
