(NOTE: Because this is a repaint, this is not a full-blown review. This mainly covers any changes made to the mold and the color scheme, and merely compares it to the original Legends of Cybertron Optimus Prime. For a review on the mold itself, read the review of the original Legends of Cybertron Optimus Prime here.)

Just like the larger
Galaxy Force Optimus Prime redeco, this Legends of Cybertron repaint is
not nearly different enough from the original. It does look slightly better
than the original LoC Prime when it comes to the color scheme, though.
I especially like that the blue has been changed to black, but other than
a few other minor paint app changes and the addition of the planet symbols
on Prime's shoulders, there's really pretty much nothing else to differentiate
this repaint of Optimus Prime from the original LoC toy. It's a shame,
and quite frankly a waste of plastic to crank out a repaint that's so similar
to the original.
No mold changes have
been made to LoC Galaxy Force Optimus Prime.
LoC Galaxy Force Optimus
Prime does look a little better than the original use of the mold, but
the blue to black is the only big color change on the toy. Just like on
the larger Galaxy Force redeco, Hasbro put too much effort into making
him still look like Optimus Prime and not enough effort into making him
look different enough color-wise from the original toy. If you don't have
the original LoC Prime toy and really want this pretty mediocre mold, then
by all means pick up this one, but otherwise skip it.
