Mutant Power: Ability to create temporary duplicate copies of himself when hit or bumped. Although he has little control over creating the copies, but he can absorb them back into his "main" body at will.
Voice Actor: David Kaye (who I'm told is a different David Kaye than the guy who does the voice of Professor Xavier)
First Appearance: "Growing Pains"
Back Story: Multiple is not given a back story. He's simply "there" at the beginning of the second season opener "Growing Pains".
Personality: Heheh. I like Multiple. He's my second favorite New Mutant next to Boom Boom. Although his personality doesn't run really deep, as he's usually only used for short comedy bits, he's pretty much the "annoying little brother" of the X-Men. He's the youngest of them all- only 12- and he's always begging the older kids to go on car trips with them, have a Danger Room session with them, etc. And he almost always gets turned down, so he some understandable resentment towards some of his shunners, especially Iceman and Jubilee. He's smarter than he at first appears, though, and gets back at them whenever possible... Oh, and he also has a one-sided crush on Kitty. Cuuute!
Final Reflections: Multiple wasn't focused on too much except for comedy bits. But really, given his powers, it's hard to take him seriously, and an episode focusing mostly on him would pretty much have to take him seriously. So, I'm pretty happy with the level of exposure he got in the series. He was there for comedy bits and the occasional fighting stint, but nothing really major, but if he was involved in a really life-threatening situation, given his funny powers, it would've totally ruined the moment unless done very carefully. I'm gonna miss this guy.
