Vital Statistics: Bernadette
is the fourth child and the third daughter of Dan &
Frances. She Bernadette has naturally curly hair, but insists on spending money to get it permed anyway. She has two blue eyes, and a nose in the middle of her face. Favourite Things: Bernadette likes collecting Charming Tails figurines, stuffed animals, and buying lots of clothes. Her favourite movie ever is What About Bob? Her favourite TV show is The Sopranos, but she wishes they had more singing in it (she's a big opera fan). In the past, Bernadette liked to eat lots of wheat and eggs. All the time, wheat and eggs. And then one day she puffed up like a blow-fish and had to go to the hospital, because apparently, she is allergic to wheat and eggs. Now she likes to wear one of those "help-me-I'm-dying" MediAlert bracelets. You don't have to ask Bernadette what her favourite feature is, because even if you don't ask, she'll tell you, "I like my nose. It's cute." Things to Know About Bernadette: Bernadette is married to Gavin, and the two of them have a home in Calgary, which they share with their three-legged dog, Enzo.
Before she met Gavin, Bernadette worked as a secretary for a bunch of crabby old accountants. So she left them and got a job working for a bunch of engineers; however, when she lost that job, too, she had to go to Kyrgyzstan to get a secretarial job. (Apparently, no one in town would hire her.) Bernadette made a very inflated wage while working overseas and travelled to Frankfurt and London (where she bought a horribly overpriced teddy bear). Gavin is 6'2". Although he grew up in a remote fishing village in Norway, he now speaks fluent English and is licensed to operate motor vehicles. Here is a picture of Bernadette & Gavin outside the White House. The two of them stayed parked out front for so long that there is now an official restraining order against them, and they can't return to Washington for five years. Bernadette insists it was all "a misunderstanding". Favourite Things: When not harassing the President of the United States, Gavin likes to go out to movies (but only if he can have some popcorn). One of his favourite movies is Spawn, because that's where he first met Bernadette. She was trying to do cartwheels at the front of the movie theatre, and kept yelling, "I can't! I can't!" (No wonder she can't - not with a bad attitude like that!) Gavin also likes to listen to music. He is especially fond of Britney Spears and also has a thing for Mariah Carey. Apparently, he's seen Glitter over 300 times, and has memorized all the songs from the film. Things to Know About Gavin: Gavin is married to Bernadette, and the two of them have a home in Calgary, which they share with their three-legged dog, Enzo (see photo above). Gavin is an engineer. He rides in the front of the train and shovels coal into the engine. Obviously, he loves his work, because in his spare time, Gavin likes to cook over the barbecue at home.
