I Am The One Hiding Under Your Bed, Teeth Ground Sharp & Eyes Glowing Red

The Nightmare Before Christmas

This is my absolute, favorite movie. I watch this movie so many times that its hard to not recite every single line. I must say that i do know just about every line and i DO recite it when i'm alone and only when i'm alone. Well, i do sing along to the songs but they are SONGS so its okay to sing along to those. So i'm an expert, ladee-freakin-dah, right? I take pride, i hope to one day have the Nightmare Before Christmas tatooed on me. No, not the actual movie, just some of the characters. This movie is so friggin cool, go rent it or something if you ever read this. I promise that if you pay attention closely, you'll see all the halloweeny detail they hide in every character, except the christmas ones... they focus obviously on well, christmas. I'll give you a quick preview in *Evilfae's* words...

The Nightmare Before Christmas

NARRATOR:
'Twas a long time ago, longer now than it seems, in a place that perhaps you've seen in your dreams. For the story that you are about to be told, took place in the holiday worlds of old. Now, you've probably wondered where holidays come from. If you haven't, I'd say it's time you begun...

This is halloween... this is halloween... tee hee, bet you thought i was gonna recite the whole thing by memory huh? Well tough cookies, if you want the script go to the link below...
Nightmare

This picture below is actually my favorite scene, well besides all the scene's with Sally in it. It's my favorite because of what the kid is holding... yup, a shrunken head. He just doesn't know what he's got. Do you know how much those things cast nowadays? Wowzah! Oh, and if anyone can get me a shrunken head that's reading this... e-mail me. No really, i'm not joking... please e-mail me...

Back to Nightmare Before Christmas. I must say i really related to Sally while i was growing up. Its all about representation and the meaning behind it. I held alot of Sally's personality traits while i grew up. Hence, that is why i absolutely dig Sally and everything she fights for, i was once there and needed to be freed from my cage. I was and now everytime i watch Nightmare its like the memories just come flooding back. Let's see... what else... oh yes, i didn't even mention the genius behind this movie, Tim Burton. I've always supported Tim Burton in anything he's created, ever since classics such as "Edward Scissor Hands" and "James & the Giant Peach". Tim Burton likes to team up with another genius named Danny Elfman, he does the soundtrack to most of his movies and all the awesome music you hear throughout Nightmare. I give it two thumbs up, five stars, and a crap load of grammy's. SO buy it, but ten copies of it, i don't care... just watch it!
