I Love These Guys
Hell yeah, these guys are da shit! They've captured me with their Brazilian ways. All that weird Portugese in their songs are cool sounding. I find myself repeating the Portugese and thinking, "hey, wait a tick... i'm neither Brazilian nor a rock star", life sux. But these guys push me harder, maybe one day my band will be playin on the same stage as them. I can only dream... *sigh*... huh? oh yeah, i'm supposed to be concentrating on this... Anyways there's only one other person in the world that loves this band as much as i do, Tommy Santoro, come on down! You're the next contestant on the Jill show! heh heh, tommy knows how much this band rocks, right tommy? Okay back to this awesome band... the low down on Soulfly is this: Max Cavallera (a.k.a. God) seperated from Sepultura due to "difference in opinions between the band". Which means he's too good for Sepultura (wait, don't get mad i have love for Sepultura, but Soulfly is da shit!) and he left, created his own band, and Boom! Soulfly is here! They just got together in "97 and have been going strong ever since. They've been nominated for many awards, but i have no idea which they've actually won. Anyways, with albums like Chaos A.D., Roots, & Back To The Primitve i'd say they're here to stay. All these albums have been great, i suggest you buy the albums. These guys gave me goosebumps when i heard them, therefore Soulfly: we salute you!
