Info: Not the main scout in the IPA, but still it's used quite lot. Many of these were seen during the conflict, mostly doing scouting, but sometimes also as patrol ships. Some shield modifications have been made and it can carry little lesser passengers now as well.

Omega MkI Class Scout Fighter

Weapons: 4 primary weapon places, energy Swarmer launchers and 7 other small secondary weapon launchers.

Capable of atmospheric flight: Yes.
Reactor: Small Antimatter reactor.
Turrets: None.
Info: Not used much as a scout in the IPA, but it's still a scout fighter. Maybe even more used as a scout than as a fighter.

Omega MkII Class Scout Fighter

Weapons: 6 primary weapons places, 12 small secondary weapon launchers.

Reactor: Small Antimatter reactor and one small fusion reactor.
Turrets: One top phaser turret.
Info: Not so much used as a scout than the MkI even that the MkII is faster, but still it is used as a scout too.

Hedeki Class Scout Ship

Weapons: Five light neutron beams and one light torpedo launcher.
Shields: Energy shields 7 000.
Max. crew: 20

Capable of atmospheric flight: Yes.
Reactors: One small Antimatter reactor.
Info: Hedeki is the fastest scout in the IPA's military. It has been modified to have lesser weaponry, but to have much higher speed. Hedeki was used as a fast scout in the GA-IPA conflict and was a fast scout there as well. Since the Hedeki has really light weaponry, they are used only as a scouts, sometimes they were used as a fighter destroyers. In the Dominion War, these ships were used as scouts, but were a lot of slower.

Shrike Class Scout Ship
Engines: Eight medium impulse engines.
FTL drive: Jump drive MkI light version.
Size length: 100 m
Size width: 100 m
Armor: light capital ship armor.
Weapons: Six light distruptors and two light torpedo launchers.
Shields: Energy shields 9 000.
Max. crew: 50
Min. crew: 10
Cargo space: 10 m³
Capable of landing to planet: Yes.
Capable of atmospheric flight: Yes.
Reactors: One small Antimatter reactor.
Info: The main scout in the IPA. Has been modified to go even faster. Has also lesser armament, but better shielding. Lot's of these scouts were used during the conflict and also quite many were destroyed. It's rumored that a group of Shrikes (about 20 ships) disabled an Omega-R class destroyer totally alone, this hasn't been totally confirmed though.
