First Era

1 - Day the 4 are created. Bizzen, the first gnome, is tinkering with a super particle accelerator/collider/enchanter (SPACE) creates a glowing prismatic sphere. He has his artificial intelligence Fhinedal analyze it, and it splits into the 4 original gods: Jordonkor Mortinade, Lomandronica and Iventame.

100 - Bizzen creates the universe accidentally while trying to make a super accurate time keeper. Working with SPACE, it is filled with many intelligences modeled on the four.

When the universe is created, it shatters the mirror of all worlds, an artifact given to Bizzen by a Blue Snake that entered his laboratory one day.

- Several million years pass, creatures evolve -

Second Era

1 - Bizzen begins experimenting with one planet - The Silver Lands. The first super nova occurs, while Bizzen is studying it, the 4 gods, still young and mischievous tinker with SPACE and each creates a race. Iventame can't think of his own race, so he combines Mortinades men with Lomandronica elves and makes half elves. These races are the first mortal life in the universe.

33 - Bizzen finishes studying the first super nova, returns, finds what the four have done and decrees they must take on material form and care for their cerations. Bizzen also makes his gnomes.

355 - Iventame decides to use SPACE to create a new universe for himself, but he makes a mistake and a link is created between the Silver Lands and the negative material plane. Evil enters the world.

1166 - Intelligent creatures gradually separate into 2 factions of good and evil. War erupts. Weapons are invented. This is the beginning of the Lifewar. It is commonly thought to have started when Minglash the Mighty nailed the 30 and 3 accusations to the door of Bizzens chief temple. (Minglash is a distant ancestor of Loromu.

1222 - Diaharnih the monk creates the order of the Monks of the Holy Breath. At this point in the lifewar it appears as though good may have to commit evil acts in order to win. He creates his lawful good order to fight this. He adds just enough good to the balance scales to slowly start to turn the war around.

1264 - In a horrific battle of the lifewar, blood from all the pure races is spilt in a magic pool. It forms an amoeba, and over the next 2000 years it evolves into halfings.

1266 - Bizzen, with the help of the four, capture the souls of all the evil people in the Jewel of Flickering Shadows. The lifewar ends, the age of pillars begins.

1322 - Survivors of the lifewar build a town, naming it Lintoli. It is made up of many races.

1411 - The Aquatic Elves found Rhynlia

1672 - A small group of orcs calling themselves the shattered blade shelters in the forgotten woods and makes it their home.

1911 - Anlyn the human woman begins her legendary journeys chronicled in "My Wanderings: Adventure, Danger and Beauty in the Silver Lands".

1932 - Medusa and Maedar invade the area later to be known as the stone forest. Survivors flee and form Erunia.

1942 - Anlyn is rescued from the Mind Flayers in the Liquid Skull Jungle by Varmin Hoofits, the infamous sage.This is the begining of a career in which he chronicles scientifically much of the wonder of the silver lands, and claims to save the world on no less than 3 occasions.

1953 - Anlyn, somewhat unbalanced as a result of her experiences with the mind flayers, ventures alone into the bonelands. She is never seen again, although around this time Varmin Hoofits, who was conversing with the wizards in the city of dimness at the time, claims to have seen a large glowing light shoot up from the bonelands.

1979 - Varmin Hoofits discovers the secret of immortality while exploring the ethereal plane, and claims to have prevented time from stopping while there as well. He never reveals the secret to others, his reasons why are vauge.

2344 - Racial strife erupts in Lintoli, in 3 days of rioting the crown passes from a human, to an elf, to a halfing, then a dwarf, and finally a gnome who brings peace by stating that on his death, the crown will pass to a man, then on his death to an elf, etc. From this day forward, the races get along better in Lintoli than anywhere else in the world.

2899 - The current king of Lintoli, Ponim the Shortwinded, a gnome, creates a primitive welfare state where the rich are taxed to feed the poor. These laws are known as "The Bread Laws".

2900 - Civil war erupts in Lintoli between those in favour of the bread laws and those against. Lives are lost and the city burns. Eventually, the anti-bread laws side loses and flees into the Mulun Desert. They found Ora, based on the principle of only the strong surviving.

3122 - An evil aquatic elf named Blindonkor is exiled from Rhynlia for conducting necromantic experiments. He leaves eastward for the depths of the ocean.

3156 - Blindonkor returns to Rhynlia. He seems changed, darker and more powerful. He takes vengeance on the leadership of Rhynlia then leaves to explore the inland river system. On his way past where fungiville is today he sees a young man on the riverbank eating a mushroom. Blindonkor is hungry and demands the youth give it to him. The youth refuses, and Blindonkor casts a terrible spell, turning the youth into an intelligent mushroom. This is the first Myconid.

Blindonkor eventually settles at what is then known as the Roaming River.

3211 - Blindonkor casts a powerful spell meant to flood the land, instead it backfires, slaying him and corrupting the surrounding land. the river is renamed the Rotten River and the area is known as the malborg swamp.

3377 - Loromu - then an Arch Wizard, Master Sage and histories first Lich, runs a kingdom that is being invaded by evil monsters. He convinces Worshach the master thief to steal the jewel of flickering shadows so that he may harness its power. Loromu blasts his enemies with the jewel, creating The Pit. Loromu battles his rival, Ixitgot the Ice Sorcerer, and Lormomu is just barely turned away when Ixitgot opens a direct link to the plane of ice, thus creating the demons breath snow fields.

Consumed by the power of the jewel, Loromu slays Iventame (who inadvertantly created evil) and attempts to control the rest of the gods but they combine, defeat him and banish him to the center of a black hole. He wears the jewel in an obsidian crown. In the fight many evil souls escaped from the jewel and create more evil in the world. The box containing Lormomus organs is still rumoured to exist somewhere, and it is also rumoured that one of Loromus last actions before being banished was to make Worshach immortal, so he could search for Loromus box of organs forever.

Loromus violence and then banishment marks The End of the Age of Pillars.

3499 - Varmin Hoofits, back from who knows where, warns of evil stirring in the bonelands. He is ignored.

3500 - Hordes of undead from the bonelands swarm out over the land. It takes 11 years and much suffering but they are eventually pushed back. Steel Millstone is created.

3516 - Acid Blood announces its existence for the first time by poisoning several wells in Lintoli. Hundreds die. Steel Millstone, in its first big test, hunts down and brings to justice most of the perpetrators.

3819 - Viscious gang war between various criminal factions. Eventually Iordin the Halfing emerges as ruler of most of the underworld in the silver lands. He names his organization Gap Toothed Grin.

4011-4022 - The Black Drought - Crops fail everywhere. There is much starvation. The parched crops turn black and rot.

4022-4033 - The Red Plague - Right on the heels of the drought comes a plauge. Victims sweat blood until they die. Almost 1 in 3 people die. All this bad luck causes many to lose faith.

4122 - Varmin Hoofits, back after another jaunt into the beyond, gives a shard of the Mirror of All Worlds to a friend, Loton the Elf. The shard has a strange influence on him. He forms the Mirror Shards and claims to possess hidden knowledge.

4322 - Oratillor the blue dragon creates the Irresistible Forceamong the receptive population of Ora. Some suspect Oratillor changed his name to be similar to the name of Ora.

4477 - Varmin Hoofits, who has somehow acquired a vast fourtune, creates the Crystal Prism Still Waters organization to spread knowledge and learning.

4765 - Limlin the Brass Dargon attempts to create opposistion to Oratillor and the Irresistible Force. His half successful attempt is known as Green Desert.

4770 - The present.
