IT'S HOUR COME ROUND AT LAST
Harper is giving Rommie the once over, so to speak, when he finds a back up copy of Andromeda. Harper wants to compare the back-up with the real Rommie and activates her.
However, something goes wrong and the back-up Andromeda takes over the real Rommie. Believing Harper is an intruder, she knocks him unconscious and sets about alerting the station of an intruder.
But Andromeda doesn't recognise any of her crew, including Dylan. She initiates her interna defenses (Automatic guns that can't shoot straight) and then forces Trance to pilot her into Slipstream on a secret mission - deep into Magog space.
It's not long before Magog ships are attacking Andromeda. Eventually they penetrate the hull and swarm in.
Harper is understandably freaked out so Dylan sends Tyr to protect him while he re intiates the old Rommie.
Dylan and Beka fight their way to the bridge to stop them from going into Slipstream. Dylan is seriously injured by Magog but keeps fighting.
Tyr knocks some sense into Harper (not literally) and they manage to reach the core where Harper re-initiates Rommie. When he comes out of the core, he finds that the Magog are everywhere so he and Tyr run into a room which is surrounded. Harper wants Tyr to shoot him but has a change of heart and he and Tyr fight off the Magog with knives but they fail. Harper and Tyr are attacked from all sides.
The Magog leader asks Rev to join him but he refuses. When Rommie is finally back, Harper and Tyr have been dragged away bleeding and barely alive by the Magog. Then Andromeda is fired upon by psp weapons, tearing three huge holes in the ship and knocking everybody unconscious.
To be continued......

Review
Wow. I think this was the best
episode of Andromeda I have seen yet. Possibly even the best season cliffhanger
of any sci-fi show I watch (Trust me, I watch a few.)
It was totally action packed from
the start but not so much so that there was no focus on dialogue and emotions.
The Magog and the scary silhouette
guy became real enemies which was expected. The whole season kept dropping
little clues that they were to feature a lot. Things like Harper's experiences
with them and the footage the crew found of Brandenborg Tor from Harper 2.0.
Everyone had an equal part in
this episode which was good because then everyone could enjoy it!
The cliffhanger ending was great.
Well, you know. Everyone was either barely alive or dying. Don't know about Rev
though. Very odd.
If I was held at gunpoint and had
to find a fault with this ep (Hey, it could happen) I'd have to say that the red
glowy eyes of scary silhouette guy were a little lame. Oh yeah, and the Magog
'leader' (Not scary guy the actual Magog) wasn't as evil looking as some of the
others were.
But other than that this was a
greeeat episode. I've already watched it about 8 times. Well, I need *something*
to get me through to Monday!
