Farscape: Unlike the more conservative and clinical Star Trek, Farscape is gritty and real. The characters have "bodily functions", they fall in love and not just in the clinical way characters in Star Trek do... :-)  The series is set on Moya which is a kind of living transport ship. The main character, John is an astronaut from Earth who's test fight went a little wrong and as a result he got shot through a wormhole into the middle of this madness. |
