Summary: Drabble. Two people on a broomstick.

I lean back, luxuriant, hands lightly gripping just above the tail, my shoulders fitting perfectly inside his.

He swears creatively and affectionately at me for changing the balance; as if I did it unintentionally.

I can feel the muscles in his back working as he holds the broom in check, and the warmth radiating from him.

I chuckle, and watch the ground rushing away behind us. Occasionally my dangling feet skim the treetops.

I think he is trying to scare me into holding on “properly”; but I am relaxed.

I know I am safe.

He will never let me fall.
