Rainbow sprites are very shy and are rarely seen. Sometimes they dance in the mists, like that that comes off of waterfalls, but mostly they follow the Rain Sprites. To make a rainbow, the Rainbow Sprites arrange themselves into arcs, side-by-side, divided into bands by wing color. Then they all fan their wings. They all must learn to fly upside down so that we may see the colors of their wings from the ground.They are always sure to align so their wing colors will put the bright stripes of the rainbow in the correct order.
