Most believe the Fire Sprite to be evil and destructive, people believe that all fire sprites wish to do is cause pain and suffering and to inconveniance us, but in reality, the fire sprite plays an important role in nature's cycle. These fires that fertilized the soil with ash and cleared away undergrowth swept through certain areas every few years, letting the sunlight reach down to new sprouts and allowing the seeds and pine cones that won't germinate until they've been singed by wildfire to do so. Fires have also been ijmportant to mankind as well, giving us warmth and allowing us to cook our food, and today, flames and sparks are an important part of many modern inventions. But just like all parts of nature, what is helpful can also hurt, and it is because that fire can still cause pain and destruction and suffering that we consider this little sprite so demonic.
