Hera is daughter of Cronus and Rhea, the wife of
Zeus and queen of the gods. People think mostly of her jealousy and spite, but she is also the most beautiful of all creatures.
She is known to bathe in the crystal
water of the spring called Canathus every springtime, washing away all
age and fret, leaving her the young maiden she was at the dawn of time.
Zeus had the world to choose from and
he chose her, and whenever he goes astray he always comes back again.
Besides, where would all those young, brave heroes be without her testing
them?
