Spring Sprites bring forth the blossoms of Spring
and paint their pretty petals. You can find them wherever there is new growth, especially in the tropics
where they live year round, though they do still visit the desert areas,
however infrequently, right after the rain sprites finish their rare work
there, leaving the ground in perfect condition. Their truest masterpieces,
though, are the northern places covered in snow; they sleep on the snow,
melting it and warming the earth, leaving the earth perfect for coaxing
up the new buds and for painting their pretty petals. When Spring comes,
they coax the sun to rise earlier to make way for the robins migrating
north. They love the northern parts and their favorite flower is the crocus,
the tiny little flower that emerges from underneath the snow at the first
signs of spring.
