Connor MacLeod

1518 - 2002

Born in 1518 in Glenfinnan, Scotland, Connor MacLeod wa known as a man of honor and loyalty. He suffered his first death in 1536 during a battle at the hands of the infamous Kurgan. After which he was exiled from his clan, who proclaimed him a demon. His first teacher was the legendary Juan Sanchez Villa-Lobos Ramirez.

During the same year as his first death Connor met Heather MacDonald, a blacksmith's daughter. Falling in love they maried, living at her father's old forge. Heather died in 1590, at her request Connor always lit a candle to remember her on her birthday. Though Connor went on to love and marry again, Heather was always the love of his life.

Adopting a World War II Orphan he rescued, Rachel Ellenstien, he married twice more. Adopting a 2nd child, John, in 1992. Connor was devastated by their deaths through the years, all ended violently, thanks to his nemesis Jacob Kell.

Ridden with grief the great man we knew as Connor MacLeod of the Clan MacLeod lost the will to live and admitted himself into "The Sanctuary". Though even that solice was not to last. Released from the compound, Connor forced Duncan MacLeod, his friend, student and kinsman to take his head. Both to ensure Duncan's victory over Kell and to cease a lifetime of loss and suffering. Duncan buried him beside Heather in Glencoe Scotland.

Connor was a tremendous man, who's life deserved to be so much brighter. He touched many lives and contrary to his dying belief, not every life he touched ended brutally. Many still shine just a little brighter for the time he touched them. Life is a cruel teacher, it kills all it's students, his however could have been far more joyful. You will never be forgotten, Connor MacLeod of the Clan MacLeod.

We miss you Connor. You have become a legend. -Webmaster

Dear Connor, first of the immortal MacLeods and last of your kind. We have all suffered a great loss in your death. The only comfort is knowing you are at peace now -Starllyn

I miss Connor. I don't know much about Highlander but from what I DO know he was my favorite character. -Ingela
