Born in 50 AD, in a nomadic tent, east of the Urals, Darius would grow up to become a great general and some claim the wisest immortal to ever live. His first death occured in 95 AD during a battle in which he lead his tribe against Germanic hordes. He was later taught by Anasuerus the Parlhain.
Darius led armies to conquer more of Europe than most generals ever attempted. But legenc has it, he took the head of a holyman at the gates of Paris and was forever changed. He removed himself battle and became a priest. He went on to teach many immortals the way of peace. Among them Duncan MacLeod, with whom he formed a lasting friendship.
Together they enjoyed hours of chess and his own home-made mead. Darius was killed by renegade watcher James horton in 1993. His quickening has been lost to immortalkind. Known by immortals and watchers alike as mankind's greatest hope in the Game, his wisdom and kindness will be sadly missed by all. His ashes were scattered on the Siene River in France by Duncan Macleod, in hopes he'd travel on to the sea as he had not in life.
