Born in 1190 in Sussex England Hugh Fitzcairn's first death in 1224 sums up his habit of getting himself into sticky situations over women all too well. He was skewered by a jealous husband. His first teacher was Henry Fitzmartin, who either shared his exuberant lady's man nature or spent his time teaching him exasperated by the young man.
Fitz as he was known, was a carefree man, who believed nothing was worth more than love. Even if that "love" only lasted until the next lighting of his pipe. Well loved by his friends, among them Duncan MacLeod, he was the life of every party and could charm any lady in the room. Fitz was just as at home sipping wine with a Monarch at court as with a peasant's daughter in the hay wagon, or the monarch's daughter for that matter!
He will always be remembered for his carefree, romantic style. Most of all by his close friend, Duncan, with whom he shared more blundered adventures than anyone can name. Including a golf bet with MacLeod where he was found to be cheating and profusley denying it, to the theft of the Stone of Scone, the Scottish crown jewels. But that is another story. He was killed in 1995 by Antonious Kalas. You will be missed Fitz! What a loss to the women of the world!
We miss you Fitz. Your prescense was always a welcome one and you always were a riot. -Webmaster
