Finn: Who is she? (spoilers for the episode "Finn")

In the most recent episode of the lost world, we were introduced to the character of "Finn" in the episode most appropriately titled "Finn".
Finn is played by Australian actress Lara Cox, who has also been on "The Lost World" before, in the episode entitled "Amazons" playing "Phobe."

If you have not seen the episode, the following is a summary of it:

Challenger takes it upon himself once again to build an invention to get the explorers off the plateau, this time it's a device which "moves matter." Quite basically a primative "transporter" as seen in Star Trek. Neither Veronica nor Malone have returned yet from their journeys, so it's just Roxton, Marguerite, and Challenger.

Challenger believes he can transport himself, Marguerite, and Roxton back to London, and subsequently Marguerite and Roxton pack up their things, and off they go.

Does it work? Of course not, instead they are transported 100 years into the plateau's future! The future is a desolate place, apparently some guys with really twisted heads started lodging bombs and chemicals at each other, and as an end result, have killed off most the worlds population. The plateau now has large cities on it, and has been civilized, oh yeah, no more dinos :(. We're told by one of the episode characters that the people living on the plateau (in the future) are the only ones that have survived the war.

The "bad guys" travel around in "Mad Max" like dune buggies, and of course, are dirtier than a pig sty.

Roxton splits up from Marguerite and Challenger, and is caught by one of these "bad guys" who have intentions of selling him for "100 coins." Roxton asks who they intend to sell him to, and why. They say they can sell him to work on an oil field of some sort. Roxton knocks them out and takes a short ride in their dune buggy, a very, very short ride. It seems that for all Roxton CAN do, he can't drive for beans.

Now we meet "Finn" she runs into a couple of "friends," who would very much like to trap her, and do who knows what to her. She compliments one of them with an crossbow arrow, and makes her escape.

In the meantime, Challenger and Marguerite make their way to the closest city. They enter a parking garage of some sort, and split up.

Challenger is the first to run into "Finn," she politely takes his gun, and goes through his pack looking for food. It seems food is a short commodity in the future. Challenger and Finn get to know each other, he explains his situation, she explains hers. Her parents died when she was 4, she and a couple other people lived together until the "slavers" came, and she's been on her own for a while now.

Marguerite enters the picture once again, she and Finn are introduced to each other, Finn being ever so polite helps herself to Marguerite's diamonds, and then Challenger and Marguerite take their leave. However, Challenger just can't seem to leave Finn, so he goes back to try to get her to come back to the past with them. It's a good thing he does too, because Finn's "friends" have come back. Challenger distracts them, and he, Finn, and Marguerite head back to the cave where Challengers' "transporter" is.

Back to Roxton- He's been walking around for a while, not doing much of anything, but back come the bad guys who had captured him before. He runs into the woods, they follow. It all ends with two bullets from Roxtons' guns, and two dirty bodies lying on the ground. He then makes his way back to the cave, as well.

Ah, at last, everyone is back together, Roxton is introduced to Finn, and then he too is introduced to her "friends," who have followed them. There is an exchange of gunfire between the explorers, and Finns' "friends," while Challenger sets the "transporter" to take them back to the past. The explorers gather around the transporter, and back to the past they go, Finn jumps in at the last second, and luckily her whole body makes the trip.

Back to the treehouse, everyone settles down, Finn asks which room is hers, everyone smiles and gets a confused look on their faces.........and CUT! End of the episode, credits roll with background music.
