I know what you're thinking..."How could anyone hate their computer?" Well, there are times that I do. Let's see if you can relate to any of the following:

• Blue Screens of Death (BSOD)
• Error messages written in code that no one can decipher
• Crashes
• Crashes that wipe out hard drive data
• Terrible printer drivers that make my printer lock up my computer (thanks ever so Epson!)
• Windows Update again!!!!
• More virus definitions?
• Defrag again?
• What do you mean wipe and reinstall?!?
• Software updates that you have to pay for even though you just bought the darn program
• Organizing all the cables from the back of the box
• Tearing out the cables from the back of the box with your feet
• Finding out that you shorted out your sound card by plugging things in wrong
• Unplugging all the cables and opening up the box to find out what's wrong because your sound card doesn't work...only to discover you had the speakers muted
• Buying a game and finding out it won't run on your system...and the store won't exchange it except for the same title
• Forwarding an email I sent without stripping my info so I get on some spammers list

Now, there are so many more that I could list. Now here's some reasons why I LOVE my computer.

• Playing Euchre online - www.pogo.com and http://games.yahoo.com
• Playing Quake 3 and Star Trek: Elite Forces online
• Email (please, no more attachments without letting me know first)
• Web surfing...yee haw!!
• Burning my own music CD's with the songs I want
• Instant Messaging (please, no cybersex! Just be nice!)
• Making up your own website - www.putergeek.com/amy
• Getting up-to-date news
• Current movie listings and TV listings
• Listening to Rush Limbaugh and Dr. Laura over the 'net (yes, I listen to them and I'm not going to apologize for it...sorry)
• DX-Ball - www.longbowdigitalarts.com/dxball2.html
• The Sims - www.thesims.com
• Roller Coaster Tycoon - www.rollercoastertycoon.com
• Half-Life - www.planethalflife.com/
• My Personal Diary - http://camdevelopment.com/mpd.htm
• All the weird and wacky websites that are out there
• All the wonderful things that I haven't discovered yet
