Unlike newsgroups, listserv lists are usually moderated,
have little or no Spam and stay on topic.  Also the way they work is...

1. You join the list and choose topics.

2. Anything sent to the list in your topics gets emailed to you.

3. Anything you send to the list gets sent to everyone on the list (again by topic).

• The Win95 Give-and-take list.  This is the list I cut my teeth on!  You'd be amazed what you'll learn on this list.

• The Win98 Give-and-take list.  Since we got a new OS we also got a new list.  If nothing else be sure to go to the website and at least take a good look!

This is a daily, weekly, or monthly email newsletter that you sign up for.

• The best of course is Lockergnome!  If you only subscribe to one, this is it!
  

• The Cool Tricks and Trinkets Newsletter is "Weekly insights into new,
  cool, fun, useful, unusual and interesting sites on the Internet."
  

• From Fred Langa comes the Langalist.  This weekly newsletter is full of useful info and interesting 'puter news.

•  From a fellow Lockergnomie comes this great site, Briggsville.Com  When you're surfing the web and want ideas of where to go, look here.  This site has links on a very wide range of topics.

• If you like 'toons, you'll love this site!  Pang does awesome work.  He was kind enough to make the 'toon you see on the index page.  Gee, do I look like that?
