Today I thought I'd give my view on WebCams. There are quite a few different kinds, from DormCams to SexCams to SceneryCams, and lots in between.  I think JenniCam is a great example of a WebCam.  Jenni started a WebCam in college and is still running it.  It's up whenever she's at home.  There's something about looking into someone's life without them knowing that you're watching.  Yet you have their permission to watch, it's like voyeurism with a twist!  Some WebCams are just people at home or work, some are pay sites that give XXX shots, and I've seen some that give views of a landscape.  This adds another form of entertainment that you can only get on the web.  Before you think WebCams are weird or that the people that offer them are strange you should spend some time and take a look at a few of them.

For instance, I use my WebCam to let people know if I'm home.  Quite a few people that visit my website wish to contact me.  Since I drive truck long haul I'm gone a lot.  This way they can check the PeterCam to see if I'm home or when I was last at home.
