WORDS IN THE GOA'ULDS' LANGUAGE
Top

chappa'i - Stargate

hettock - Goa'uld pyramid ship

Kel-No-Reem
This is a form of stasis a jaffa must enter to allow his or her Goa'uld larvae time to heal illnesses. The jaffa enters it by relaxing and concentrating. Once there, he and his symbiote's unconscious minds will think as one. That's when it can heal the jaffa's body. The meaning of this ritual is revealed in "The Holiday."

Kre - attention, listen up, concentrate
this word seems to have several similar meanings, some of which are explained by Daniel Jackson in "Point of View." However, in "Urgo," when Urgo uses it, it sounds like kre means 'kill.'

shol'va - traitor

Tok'ra - resistance
A group of renegade Goa'uld use this word as their name, although anyone fighting against the Goa'uld is a part of the Tok'ra. The meaning of this word is explained in "In the Line of Duty" and "The Tok'ra Part I."

DIALOGUE:

Tacunitagaminituron
Nickname: Tacs
This is introduced in "Deadman Switch." It's another Goa'uld weapon. It is a defense mechanism that shoots at anything that gives off heat.
DIALOGUE:
Jack: So Tealc, how does one Goa'uld fire weapons from several directions?
Teal'c: Tacs.
Jack: Tacnicketels?
Tealc: Tacunitagaminituron.
(Daniel and Jack look at him with their eyebrows raised.)
Teal'c (sighing): Tacs.
Jack: What are they?
Teal'c: automatic remote weapons.
(Jack throws a rock out into the clearing; nothing happens)
Jack: Heat seeking?
Teal'c: so it would seem.
(Jack takes out some C-4, ignites it, and throws it out. Energy blasts come out of nowhere and fire at it. There is a small explosion when the blasts hit it. Teal'c and Jack shoot all the tacs.)
