Personal history:  Born in New Mexico of Canadian and American parents,  Richards was moved around while young and never had the chance to develop long lasting relationships. His parents moved to Canada when he was in his teens, since his father was being transferred to the company there. Richards did well in school and was able to progress through several scholarships to the US Naval Academy at Annapolis. Was a better than average student and was soon drafted to the Navy SEALs. Performed two tours and was tapped to Excelsior, the foremost Red Beret team. From there, things became a bit more difficult and he found himself involved in several altercations with Senior officers and was about to be court-martialed when the Flight Commander of Firestar came forward and tapped him. Promise was made by said Commander that he would be brought up to snuff and has been found to perform better as a black than when he was in Excelsior.

His skill through Firestar brought his name to the forefront and after assessments was sent a letter. During training period at Koala he performed well and had just graduated to temporary duty on Cloudbase, when he was groundside meeting with friends at SK. He was turned shortly after his arrival there and threw his vest at the Colonel announcing he was leaving Spectrum. Since then he has been one of their better agents and his knowledge of SEAL tactics and combat training has provided them with some security advantages.

Personality Traits: On duty, efficient and practical, but sometimes has an irritating of flirting. Very friendly and was well liked with other cadets, but did have a penchant for getting into some trouble. Was AWOL for three days, and was disciplined for it, word came down after that he was now married to the sister of his Firestar commander.

Additional Comments: Since Richards was taken over he seems to have more odd quirks showing up in his behavior, one being more of a frivolous taste for life. While he has been watched over by his old commander, the two now are at loggerheads but he does seem to be inclined to do what she asks, so long as it doesn’t interfere or hinder his Mysterons goals. It is assumed his wife knows about this but since the Colonel has been the only one to speak with her over this, the response is unknown. Also for whatever reason. Commander Westlake still trusts him for some things but has told Captain Scarlet to use extreme force if he must.
