What is complacency???
It is indifference or comfort. Why
write a page on this subject? Because
it's the core of who we are as Christians.
We have come to a place in our lives where
we are comfortable with the way things are.
We know that if it's ok, we don't have do
anything right? Wrong. We should never
stop moving forward. Why? Well, when we
stand still and think everything is ok,
then we have fallen into the trap of
complacency. That is things are ok and
comfortable. That's exactly what the enemy
wants us to do. Who's the enemy? Satan.
He wants us to believe that, as long as
nothing is happening, then we can feel good.
Don't be decieved. We must look to GOD the
CREATOR and find where HE is working and
go and join HIM. It may cause you to do
something that you have never tried before.
That's ok. If HE, the CREATOR guides you,
then HE will provide every thing necessary
to complete the task. The problem is we
say that "we tried that before". We have
never done anything like this before.
Have we sought the HEAVENLY FATHER?
Probably not. Don't be decieved into
believing that you cannot do something
for GOD. HE has called each and everyone
of us to do a task and HE will provide.
That's HIS promise! Don't fall into the
trap of thinking everything is ok. That's
satan's plan. He says "hey, everything's
cool. You're going to church and it seems
like people are coming so whats' the deal?"
You see, satan is happy with a full church
as long as the church is not doing anything.
Seek GOD and ask HIM where HE is working.
Join HIM and you'll see things that are
only explainable by GOD. Don't get
comfortable or be indifferent. Don't say
what does it matter. It DOES matter.
