The dictionary defines luck as.....
1) a. a force that brings good fortune
...or adversity. b.the events or circumstances
that operate for or against and individual.
2) favoring chance
3) a. to prosper or succeed, especially through
chance or good fortune (things were going bad
and then he lucked out) b. to come upon something
desirable by chance.
Sounds good doesn't it?
I have a problem with this though.
As we have said, if it's not of God
it's of who? Satan. So if we're
not looking to God, we're looking
to who? Satan! Right! No doubt!
So that lucky penny... that wishbone
the 4 leaf clover... your fishing cap,
don't forget that bowling shirt...
Do you realize what is happening here?
It sounds like you're leaning on a
higher power that isn't of God!
You wonder why I think this?
Let me tell you, this is not something
that I think, this is something I KNOW!
If you are not looking to God, you
are looking to the devil himself. Itself!
If you want to win the bowling match,
ask Jesus Christ, Son of the living God
to go with you. He likes to be asked!
The wishbone? It was only part of the turkey.
Who's the turkey for depending on that
wishbone to help you find Mr. Right?
I'll bet Jesus has pretty good taste!
So what luck? Not!
