About Dragons
Dragons are creatures that some people think exist. Whether they do or not, I know for certain that they exist in our dreams and daydreams, past or present, and have existed in our childhood fantasies. Do you remember any book you have read with the knight conquoring the dragon, or opened up to beautiful pictures of them when you were young? Or do you notice the number of books, pictures, or movies (or websites :)) that include dragons? Whether dragons do, did, or have never existed, they are still an important part of the world today, and have left their mark upon the world.
What is a Dragon?
The dictionary says that a dragon is a mythical animal that is usually a huge serpent with scaly skin, wings, and a long tail (alike to a winged crocodile).
The word "dragon" came from the Old French and Latin draco and, in the Greek, drakon which means serpent and (literally) "one with a deadly glance".
