The Wiseman was the leader of the Black Moon forces that were attacking Crystal Tokyo in the future. When Chibi-Usa traveled back in time to save her mother, he sent Rubeus and the Four Sisters to catch her and to conquer Crystal Points, areas that made up Crystal Tokyo in the past. The also Wiseman created Black Lady by infesting Chibi-Usa with Black Energy. He had also turned on Esmeraude by evolving her into a dragon which the Sailor soldiers later killed, he had killed Safir for betraying their cause, and later, the Wiseman betrayed and killed Prince Demando so he could conquer Earth and get revenge on it's people (Read the Crystal Tokyo Story for the story lines). He was killed when Neo-Queen Serenity and Chibi-Usa attacked him with their Silver Crystals (one from the future and one from the past) while the Soldiers cast their powers to help eliminate him. |

Kurenaino Rubeus was the Wiseman's General who went back in time to capture Chibi-Usa. Rubeus brought with him the Four Sisters, his finest agents, to capture Chibi-Usa and take over Crystal Points, areas that made up Crystal Tokyo. Taking over Crystal Points by infesting them with Black Energy would prevent them from existing in the future, thus destroying Crystal Tokyo. Fortunatley, the Sailor Soldiers stopped all his attempts at conquering Crystal Points, thus frustrating the Wiseman. On his last mission, Rubeus lured the Sailor Soldiers onto his space ship. He held them hostage for Sailor Moon's Silver Crystal. Sailor Moon came onto the ship with Chibi-Usa to save the Sailors. She had defeated Rubeus and saved the others but, Rubeus set his ship on self-destruct in an attempt to kill the soldiers while they were on it. But they had teleported out with Chibi-Usa before it exploded, leaving Rubeus still on the ship. Esmeraude had visited Rubeus before the ship self-destructed and Rubeus begged her to save him for he knew he could not escape. But she betrayed him so she would be the next commander, hoping to impress Prince Demando. Rubeus was destroyed when his ship eventually exploded. |

Cooan was the youngest and most agressive of the four sisters. Her powers were over the control of dark fire. Instead of using droids, she would usually fight one on one with the Sailor Soldiers and did her own work. Cooan's counterpart in battle was Sailor Mars and they had duels with each other a few times. On her last mission, she was sent to Rei's shrine to see if she could find Chibi-Usa, because Chibi-Usa was spotted there many times. When Chibi-Usa arrived, Cooan tried to catch her, but Rei stopped Cooan and transformed into Sailor Mars (much to Cooan's surprise). When Cooan was defeated by Sailor Mars and Tuxedo Mask, Rubeus told her that he did not love her at all. However, he gave her a bomb to blow up the shrine, which was a crystal point. Before Cooan could though, the Soldiers stopped her. They tried to attack Cooan, but Sailor Mars stopped them all because she sensed goodness in Cooan's heart. Sailor Moon then healed Cooan. |

Beruche was the second youngest of the four sisters. She is very similar to Sailor Mercury in that she uses her brain, and that she has control over water and ice. Beruche never really fought by herself, but used droids more often. Her final mission was to take over another crystal point, which was an arena for Chess matches. While there, Ami tried to stop her, but Beruche was too strong. Ami transformed into Sailor Mercury, which surprised Beruche, who then took off. The following day, Ami and Beruche (in human form) played each other in the finals of a chess competition. When Ami won, Beruche got so angry that she froze the Soldiers in a ball of ice and almost froze Mercury completely... until Tuxedo Mask saved them. Petz and Calaveras arrived, warned Beruche that since she failed, she should not come back and face Rubeus, and left. Beruche then felt that no one loved her, so she tried to freeze the whole building, killing them all. But Cooan influenced Beruche that people did love her and that she should let Sailor Moon heal her. |

Calaveras was the second oldest of the four sisters. Though she argued with her older sister Petz the most, they often worked together on missions. She sometimes depended on droids to do her work rather than doing it herself. When she was evil, she used her whip to fight against the soldiers, and her counterpart in battle was Sailor Venus. When Petz was given the evil weapon by Rubeus to brainwash Cooan and Beruche, Calaveras was jealous and thought that she deserved the weapon because she was more skilled. When they were attacking the Soldiers, Petz suddenly started to attack Calaveras also because she was unstoppable with the wand in her possession. After the weapon was finally destroyed, Calaveras and Petz were healed together. |

Petz is the oldest of the sisters. She usually gets very angry and frustrated and she constantly argues with her younger sister Calaveras. But ironicly, she would usually perform her missions with Calaveras. She was also in love with Safir. In battle, her counterpart was Sailor Jupiter. Petz had the power of black lighting. After Beruche and Cooan were healed, Rubeus gave her an evil and powerful wand, to destroy the Sailor Soldiers once and for all and bring back her sisters to the Black Moon Family. But with the weapon in her possession, it made her so strong that she became power-crazy and turned on her sister Calaveras, the only other sister not healed at the time. The Soldiers were able to disarm her and make her lose the wand. Rubeus arrived at the scene and used the wand's magic to create a powerful votex that would kill them all, including Petz. Petz then knew that Rubeus had betrayed her also. The soldiers destroyed the wand with "Sailor Planet Attack" and then Sailor Moon healed Petz and Calaveras. |

Esmeraude was similar to Zoisite, backstabbing and selfish. She was in love with Prince Demando and wanted to impress him by succeeding in her missions. Her mission was to gather up enough black energy at Crystal Points so that the Black Gate would open and the forces of the Black Moon would easily penetrate the Sailor soldiers defenses and take over the Earth. But the Sailor soldiers kept foiling her plans to open the Black Gate. When all the soldiers, Tuxedo Mask and Chibi-Usa traveled into the future, Esmeraude asked for the Wiseman to predict her future. He said that she would become the Queen of the Black Moon Family and so her gave her a crown. She put the crown on her head, and a few moments later, she started to transform into a dragon. The giant Dragon was later destroyed by the Sailor soldiers. |

Safir was Prince Demando's brother and he monitered the energy level of the Black Crystal. He was jealous and envious of Emerald because she got to command missions. Plus, he dispised Sailor Moon for her thought that she was manipulating Diamond. He created Crystals that could harness the Power for Esmeraud to open the Gate. When he learned of the Wisman's plans to take over the Earth for himself and release the Death Phantom, he tried to convice Demando of it, but Prince Demando did not beleive him. So, Safir stole the Key-Card of the Black Crystal so that the Wiseman could not harness it's powers. With it, he fled to Earth for protection and the Wiseman had told Prince Demando that Safir had betrayed him. While on Earth, the Four Sisters took care of him, but then he left to warn Demando. He tried to tell his brother, but the Wiseman had killed him first. The Wiseman told Prince Demando that he killed Safir because he was a traitor, but in fact, he killed him for trying to convince Prince Demando of his plans. |

Prince Demando was the leader of the Black Moon Family and the plans to take over Earth. When he saw Neo-Queen Serenity, he fell in love with her, which made Esmeraude and Safir jealous and angry. When the soldiers traveled into the future, Prince Demando captured Sailor Moon because he wanted her by his side. But Tuxedo Mask saved Sailor Moon from him. Later, after Black Lady was created, they all went back into the present. There, the Wiseman had killed Safir, and Prince Demando wanted the Wiseman to stop all his actions for his disobeyance. Prince Demando again captured Sailor Moon, and she convinced him that the Wiseman was controlling him. Thus, the Wiseman tried to kill them both, but Prince Demando fought back and killed him. But, Prince Demando died because of the tremendous effort he used to kill the Wiseman. After he died, however, the Wiseman revived himself again. |

When Chibi-Usa was captured by the Wiseman, he infested her with black energy. The black energy made Chibi-Usa grow into an adult full of evil, Black Lady, who tried to get vengence on the Sailor soldiers for not being loving to her when she was a child. But, these thoughts of being shunned away from her mother (Neo-Queen Serenity), her father (King Endymion), and the soldiers were manipulated into her head by the Wiseman. After several battles, Black Lady was revived by Sailor Moon and Chibi-Usa returned to her normal self and helped fight against the Death Phantom/Wiseman with the Silver Crystal from the future. |
