Overview

  Michiru is a very elegant and artistic person. She is also very intelligent and mature. She enjoys painting, playing the violin and she is an excellent swimmer (She in fact has raced agaisnt Ami in a swimming match and they tied). Michiru, along with Haruka/Sailor Uranus, is also a lesbian and the two are in love. But she appears still as a young woman and not as a male like Haruka. She and Haruka's love goes very deep for each other and they are almost always seen together. She likes to take and hold Haruka's hand, especially in tense situations. And just like Haruka, Michiru is very devoted to her mission and will do anything to complete it.

  When Michiru is in battle as Sailor Neptune, she is very careful and calm. She thinks of what will happen before she attacks her enemy. Her partner, Sailor Uranus, is someone who she hates to see get hurt, and she will bravley sacrafice her life for her partner or for their mission. Together, the two make a fantasic team and are later joined with Sailor Pluto. Sailor Neptune's talisman is the Sacred Mirror, in which she uses for battle. Her long-term duty, along with Uranus and Pluto, is to protect Sailor Moon from invaders from outside the Solar System. Being the soldier of the Sea, all her attacks are relative to the powers of the great, mighty ocean.

Neptune was the god of the Sea and Ocean. In Greek Mythology, Neptune was the god Poseidon. And since he ruled over the Sea, Sailor Neptune's attacks are all related to the ocean as well.

Sailor Neptune gathers up her power and turns it into a blue sphere of energy. She then plunges this toward her target. The effect releases the same force and pain as a giant tidal wave.

Submarine Reflection:
Using the Sacred Mirror, Neptune holds it in front of her and it releases a bright flash of light. This light can be used to pin-point the weakest part of her enemy, or see through illusions.
