Three young men walk down a dark, quiet hallway. At the end there is a closed door with some light creping out of its crack. One of them stops and asks the others "Can we find her?"
"Don't worry! That's why we came here" one of the other two men replies.
"We'll definitely find her" the third young man says. The second man speaks again.
"That's right! Even if we sacrifice everything. Now let's go! It's time." The three of them continue walking and pass through the door. The three of them are then onstage in front a large crowd of mostly females, each holding a different colored rose and standing still. There is much screaming from the restless audience and there are lights shooting everywhere. Suddenly music begins to play and they each start to move. The scene switches to the five girls (Usagi, Ami, Rei, Makoto, and Minako) sitting in their favorite restaurant, Crown Fruit Parlor. Rei, Minako, and Makoto talk about a new idol group called Three Lights. They each admire two of the members, Seiya and Yaten. But Ami tells them to not leave out the third member, Taiki. They are shocked that Ami is a fan, but she denies and says that she doesn't know much about them at all. Minako asks the silent and depressed Usagi who she likes, but she replies "Mamoru." She then explains to them that Mamoru is going to college in America for a long while. She says that she is okay with it all, but the others do not believe her. As she is walking home, they realize that she will be very lonely because Chibi-Usa has gone back to future. At Usagi's home later that night, she weeps about Mamoru and Chibi-Usa. Luna cheers her up and encourages her to see him off with a smile, instead of tears.
The following day at the airport, Usagi starts to cry when she sees him off. Mamoru gives Usagi a beautiful ring and he puts it on her finger. As they walk toward his departure gate, the Three Lights are also in the airport. Seiya walks past Usagi and recieves a strange feeling about her. Usagi watches Mamoru's plane depart and she is actually smiling as she sees it leave. In a different setting, the voice that awoke Nehelenia in the previous episodes says that she can feel the energy of stars called "True Star Seeds". The face of the woman with the voice is finally revealed. She sends a golden blast of energy towards Earth. It soars to Mamoru's plane in the air. Mamoru is looking at a photo of him with Usagi and Chibi-Usa. The blast hits the plane and a golden light emits out of it. In another place, Yaten is playing his guitar but he stops abruptly. "Another light of a star has just disappeared" he remarks.
The next day, all the girls go to a park where the Three Lights are acting in a drama called "Z-Files of Detective Boy Holms" on location. Ami again knows alot about the program, but when the others stare at her, she gets embarrassed and says that she actually doesn't know much about it. They notice the co-actress in the program named Alice Itsuki and remark that she is very attractive. Usagi then looses the others in the crowd unforunately. In a tree, a mysterious and small woman in a suit acknowledges that Alice Itsuki has "the good charm of a star". Usagi later sneaks into a restricted area so she can see Alic and the other actors without any obstacles. Seiya stops her before she can go any further and realizes that she was the one he saw at the airport. Usagi doesn't know who he is, and Seiya is surprised at that. He leaves and calls her "Dumpling", but Usagi becomes insulted because Mamoru is the other person who can call her that. Usagi is sneaking around, and while she is, Alice comes out of her trailer but is stopped by the mysterious woman. The woman takes her suit off and reveals herself dressed as a white mouse. The mouse woman uses two bracelets to let loose two small blasts of golden energy. They hit Alice, and she becomes paralyzed. An orange flower appears and blooms upon her fore-head. A small glass seed with a light in the center appears out of it, but it soon looses its light and becomes black. The woman is disappointed that it is not a true star seed. At this point, Usagi has tranformed into Eternal Sailor Moon and introduces herself to the woman. The woman then also introduces herself as Sailor Iron Mouse! This shocks Sailor Moon because the woman is also a Sailor Soldier. Sailor Iron Mouse tells Sailor Moon that anyone who loses the brightness of their star seed becomes a "phage", an evil Sailor Soldier. Alice then turns into a phage, and Iron Mouse teleports away in a telephone booth. The phage, named Sailor Pretty, starts attacking Sailor Moon with a long mace. Luna tells her to attack her back, but Sailor Moon does not because she knows that it is really Alice. Suddenly, finger snapping is heard. Three voices begin a speech: "Penetrating the darkness at night... the air of freedom breaks through... we are the three sacred shooting stars." Three Sailor Soldiers in black tunics appear introducing themselves as Sailor Star Fighter, Sailor Star Maker, and Sailor Star Healer... the Sailor Starlights. Sailor Star Fighter attacks the phage, and it is almost dead. Sailor Moon stops them before they can kill the phage. Her rod appears and she uses her new attack "Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss" to bring Alice back to normal and rekindle her star seed's light. The Sailor Starlights then dissappear.
Eventually, the members of Three Lights transfer to Usagi, Ami, Makoto, and Minako's school. They all become friends (along with Rei). Meanwhile, Usagi continues to write letters to Mamoru, but he never replies. Also at this time, the Sailor Soldiers become very familiar with the Sailor Starlights. And together, both teams keep stoping and reviving phages created by Sailor Iron Mouse. It turns out that Sailor Iron Mouse poses as a female television producer at "Galaxia T.V." named Nezu. She takes orders from the woman with the voice, who is named Galaxia. Iron Mouse has been continually searching for a true star seed, but she has never found one for Galaxia. During all this, Haruka, Michiru, and Setsuna join in the battle. The three of them do not trust the Sailor Starlights because they are invaders from outside the Solar System, and it is their duty to protect the Moon Princess from intruders like them. Eventually Galaxia runs out of patience with Iron Mouse, which frightens her. Thus, Iron Mouse never answers Galaxia's calls because she doesn't want to face Galaxia. Later, Galaxia finds Iron Mouse and takes away her two gold bracelets. Without her bracelets, Iron Mouse cannot survive, and she vanishes. Sailor Moon and the Sailor Starlights watch Iron Mouse's death in confusion. Before Galaxia leaves, she introduces herself to them as Sailor Galaxia and threatens them to not interfere.
After Iron Mouse's death, two new servants (Anima-mates) of Galaxia, Sailor Aluminum Siren and Sailor Lead Crow, go to Earth to find star seeds. Of the two, Sailor Aluminum Siren does most of the work for the mission. At the time of their arrival, a cute little girl named ChibiChibi also appears. Usagi's mother says that she is her sister, but Usagi knows that it is not true. Setsuna warns Usagi and the others about the girl, but they do not believe that such a cute girl can be dangerous. Like Sailor Iron Mouse, Aluminum Siren and Lead Crow keep searching for star seeds, but they never recover one and their phages are stopped by the Sailor Soldiers and the Starlights. After countless efforts, Sailor Aluminum Siren sees Usagi transform into Sailor Moon while fighting against a phage and sees the bright glitter of a "true star seed". Now Aluminum Siren knows Sailor Moon's identity and knows that she has a star seed. While Aluminum Siren was fighting Sailor Moon, Sailor Moon dropped her rod and had no way to defend herself. But ChibiChibi arrived, dodged the phage, and touched Sailor Moon's rod. A huge light was formed and all the Sailor Soldiers could feel it, even Galaxia. In a dream, ChibiChibi had changed into a Sailor Soldier, Sailor ChibiChibi-Moon, and gave Sailor Moon her new power "Silver Moon Crystal Power Kiss". Sailor Moon and ChibiChibi returned to real life, and Sailor Moon used her attack to heal the phage. The Sailor Starlights arrived to fight with Sailor Moon, but Aluminum Siren fled. Aluminum Siren did not tell Galaxia or Sailor Lead Crow about Sailor Moon's identity. Instead, she wrote it in her personal journal. When Aluminum Siren set up a trap for Usagi, along with the Three Lights and the Inner Soldiers, everyone saw each other transform. Now they all, including Aluminum Siren, knew the truth of their identities. Aluminum Siren tried to get Sailor Moon's star seed, but she was out-numbered. When she returned to Galaxia empty-handed, Galaxia took away her bracelets and she vanished. Lead Crow was very disappointed about Aluminum Siren's death, and she was forced to work with the last member of the Anima-mates, Sailor Tin Nyanko.
Lead Crow and Tin Nyanko did not work well together because they hated each other. Because of this, Lead Crow wanted to work alone, so she tried to find a star seed in a DJ from a radio station that was working with the Three Lights. The star seed, however, was a blank and a phage was created. Sailor Moon arrived to stop the phage, but it was too strong for her. The Inner Soldiers also came to help and the phage was finally returned to the normal DJ. Lead Crow was frustrated that the Soldiers interfered once again and wanted to finally kill them with her own hands. As Lead Crow faced-off against the Soldiers, Tin Nyanko was watching the battle nearby. She revealed a gun and aimed it at Sailor Moon from behind. When Tin Nyanko shot it, Seiya ran in and took the hit to defend Saior Moon. Sailor Star Healer and Sailor Star Maker arrived to help Seiya, and Tin Nyanko and Lead Crow escaped. Seiya was severely hurt, and Healer and Maker were angry at the Soldiers. They then told the Soldiers to leave them alone. The outer Soldiers told Usagi not to see the Three Lights again. But Seiya was able to communicate with Usagi and he told her to come to one of the Three Lights' concerts and listen to his song. The song he sang told Usagi about Galaxia: "This is all due to Galaxia. She wants to destroy all of the stars by getting all of the star seeds. When she gets all of the star seeds, the galaxy will be hers. Our planet was destroyed by Galaxia. But our final hope, the princess, escaped and came to Earth. We followed her and came to Earth too." Still, the Soldiers and the Starlights did not permit their encounters with each other.
Later on, ChibiChibi is walking in the city and she notices pink butterflies flying around. She chases them into the forest and into a lake. ChibiChibi walks on the water and the butterflies create a censer, a pot for the burning of incense, for her and turn her into Sailor ChibiChibi-Moon. The Three Lights feel the energy of the butterflies and say that it is the energy of their princess. Galaxia herself even felt the energy. The Three Lights noticed the fragrance of their princess coming from Usagi and ChibiChibi. At this time, Sailor Lead Crow reads Sailor Aluminum Siren's journal and she discovers who the Sailor Soldiers and Starlights are and that Sailor Moon has a star seed. Yaten and Taiki try to get the censer from ChibiChibi, but the girls stop them and they leave. Lead Crow eventually appears and tells the girls that she knows their identities. The girls transform and fight against Lead Crow, but she is too strong. The Starlights came to help, and Lead Crow claimed that she knew their identities as well. Then Lead Crow took out a small capsule with a tiny black hole inside. She threatened to release the black hole that would spread and kill them, unless Sailor Moon surrendered her star seed. Sailor Moon agreed and Lead Crow stole her star seed, which was the Silver Crystal. Suddenly, Tin Nyanko shot Lead Crow and she dropped the capsule to the ground. The capsule broke and released the black hole. The black hole swallowed Lead Crow and, before Tin Nyanko could get it, sucked in the Silver Crystal, ChibiChibi, and Sailor Moon. Tin Nyanko fled, and then there was a blast emitted from the black hole which destroyed it. ChibiChibi appeared holding the censer with a beautiful light glowing from it. Usagi also appeared floating in air. Then finally, the Starlights' princess appeared and held Usagi in her arms. Their princess, named Princess Kakyuu, told them all of the Sailor Wars and eventually departed with the Starlights. Galaxia felt Sailor Lead Crow's energy disappear and the strong energy of the Princess from Earth. Sailor Tin Nyanko told Galaxia that she had finally found a star seed, and Galaxia sent her on her way. Meanwhile, the four girls plus Haruka and Michiru watched over Usagi and wanted to protect her because they knew the enemy would be coming for her. Eventually, Tin Nyanko did come for Usagi when Ami, Minako, and Makoto left her alone. Usagi transformed into Sailor Moon and was fighting against Tin Nyanko. During the fight, a red rose hit Tin Nyanko! Sailor Moon thought it was Tuxedo Mask, but it was Seiya. He transformed and attacked Tin Nyanko. Sailor Moon attempted to heal Tin Nyanko, but only half of her was healed and she escaped. Usagi began to cry because she thought that Tuxedo Mask had returned to save her, but it was actually just Seiya. "Am I not good enough" the heart-broken Seiya asked.
Later on, Rei came to Usagi's house to talk with her. Usagi had told Rei that Mamoru has not replied to her ever since he was gone. During their conversation, ChibiChibi interrupted by accidentally turning on the radio. Over the radio broadcast, there was a report about how the Three Lights were seperating and that their concert tomorrow would be their last (At this concert, they were planning to find the Light of Hope once and for all). Rei met up with the other girls at Crown Fruit Parlor. There, Ami explained that she contacted Mamoru's University in America and they said that he never arrived. They all felt terrible for Usagi because she had never told them about it and had to endure it all by herself. Usagi was on her way to see the Three Lights with ChibiChibi when Haruka and Michiru stopped her. They told her to stay away that she loved Mamoru, not Seiya. They let her go, however, because she said that she just wanted to say "good-bye". Usagi met with the Three Lights backstage at their concert. Seiya and Usagi talked together alone:
Seiya: About yesterday, I meant it!
Usagi: Seiya... I... actually...
Seiya: Don't feel bad that I'm in a one-sided love! I'll carry you off right after the concert. I'm joking, but I've fallen in love with you without realizing it. I wanted to tell you my feelings because Seiya's time is short.
Usagi: Seiya...
Seiya: Now I can do the final concert with all my might! I hope you get together with your boyfriend soon.
Usagi: I'm sorry...
Seiya: You don't have to apologize, Dumpling! I wish I could have met you earlier, Dumpling.
Usagi: Seiya...
Taiki and Yaten were talking with Haruka and Michiru and warning them about the great battle that would come. Haruka and Michiru did not become scared and said that they will fulfill their task. Before leaving for the concert, Seiya said "If we can't find the Light of Hope in this concert, we'll face the final battle with our lives! Let's do it with all our might, Taiki, Yaten!"
At the concert, Rei, Ami, Makoto, and Minako were sitting in the audience while Usagi, ChibiChibi, Haruka, and Michiru were watching from backstage. During the Three Lights' song that was supposed to call upon the Light of Hope, ChibiChibi began to glow. Suddenly an explosion hit the stage, it was Sailor Tin Nyanko. Everyone in the audience quickly escaped. Tin Nyanko threatened to them that Galaxia will rule the whole Galaxia. Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus said that they would stop her, and then Tin Nyanko turned good and told them to beware of Galaxia. Tin Nyanko then turned evil again, and then good. Princess Kakyuu said that Tin Nyanko used to be a good Sailor Soldier, but is being controlled by Galaxia's bracelet and since she lost one bracelet, her sense of being good was returning. Tin Nyanko then tried to attack them, but the Three Lights transformed into the Starlights and defended the others against the the attack. Eternal Sailor Moon and the Inner Soldiers also arrived to help stop Tin Nyanko. Unexpectedly, the sky turned black, red and purple, similar to the atmosphere in Galaxia's world. A voice was heard laughing, and Sailor Mars was shocked at the "evil wave of hatred" she was feeling. Galaxia then appeared. Galaxia killed Tin Nyanko by taking her bracelet away, and attacked Princess Kakyuu. Galaxia then tried to get Princess Kakyuu's star seed, however the Princess defended herself with her power. She ordered the Three Lights to get away while she holds Galaxia, but they did not. Unfortunately, the Princess' powers were not enough to withstand Galaxia's force, and her star seed was taken. Sailor Moon then tried to use her "Silver Moon Crystal Power Kiss" to heal Galaxia, but it had no effect on her. As Princess Kakyuu faded away, ChibiChibi became Sailor ChibiChibi-Moon and held her hand. Black lightning began to crash all over the city as the cries of the citizens were heard by the Soldiers. Galaxia then appeared on all the Televisions in the city and announced that the whole galaxy is hers. Mercury traced the TV signals and discovered that they were coming from Galaxy TV. The Starlights heard this and started to leave to go fight Galaxia. The other soldiers warned them that they would be killed if they tried. They did not listen and left anyway. Lightning almost struck Sailor Moon who was holding ChibiChibi-Moon, but Sailor Saturn appeared with Sailor Pluto and protected Sailor Moon with her "Silent Wall".
The Starlights arrived at Galaxy TV and Galaxia brought them into her dimension. Meanwhile, the others had detransformed and were watching the doomed city from Rei's Shrine. Everyone in the city was having their star seeds extracted. Haruka and Michiru both agreed to stop Galaxia and protect this planet and they left for Galaxy TV. Setsuna and Hotaru caught up with them and they all departed together. Back at the shrine, Usagi told Luna and Artemis to watch ChibiChibi and they all transformed. They all arrived at Galaxy TV and were about to go inside, when a bird flew above them. The bird flew forward and was killed by a massive electric shock. The soldiers realized that there was a strong barrier surrounding Galaxy TV and they could not get inside. Outside, a TV screen turned on and showed the Starlights fighting Galaxia. Sailor Moon wanted to get inside to help them instead of watching them die, but the others stopped her so she wouldn't get caught by the barrier. Meanwhile inside, Galaxia reflected Healer's "Star Sensitive Inferno" back towards them, and continued to attack them after that. Inside Galaxy TV, the Outers saw the battle on more TV screens. Back outside, Sailor Moon began to cry when suddenly, a huge pink light flashed, it was ChibiChibi. ChibiChibi surrounded the others in the pink light and teleported them into Galaxia's dimension. Sailor Moon ordered Galaxia to leave their planet, but she said she would if they surrender their star seeds to her. She blasted the other Soldiers. Galaxia tried to extract the Starlights star seeds, but the Inner Soldiers took the hits!! The TVs turned off and the Outer Soldiers could no longer watch the battle. Pluto remarked that the shines of the four planets are going out. Galaxia grabbed their star seeds as they all collapsed and faded away. Sailor Moon screamed wildly and ordered Galaxia to return them, but she just blasted Sailor Moon. Galaxia then showed Sailor Moon all the star seeds she had collected. Sailor Moon noticed a specific one with an amazing gold shine and she felt something strange about it; she wondered if it was Mamoru's. "Oh," Galaxia said, "you have a good eye to catch the golden star seed! This star seed is in charge of this planet." Usagi began to shed more tears. She then realized that Mamoru had not been ignoring her letters, he had been dead the whole time!
Galaxia explained that all life in the Galaxy has a star seed, but star seeds with eternal shines are ones that have the energy of stars and planets. And to become ruler of the Galaxy, she would need to collect all star seeds from stars and planets. Sailor Moon asked, "What is the meaning of it? Why are you doing this terrible thing?"
"Why?" Galaxia replied. "That reminds me of the man who held this star seed. He said the same thing." Galaxia held the star seed and a gold light emitted from it which showed what happened to Mamoru: He was sitting in the plane looking at a picture of him, Usagi and Chibi-Usa when Galaxia's golden blast hit the plane. The plane was shown in another dimension with Tuxedo Mask standing on the wing ready for battle. Galaxi appeared knowing that he had a star seed. Tuxedo Mask asked her why she was inflicting pain on others, but her only reply was "The entire galaxy belongs to me!" Tuxedo Mask tried to attack Galaxia, but she dodged the assault and stole his star seed. As Tuxedo Mask faded away, he warned Galaxia about the Sailor Soldiers and how they would not let her take over the planet. His last word however was "Usagi..." Usagi then began to cry even more after learning the truth. Galaxia tried to get Sailor Moon's star seed, but a bright light teleported her and the Starlights out of the dimension quickly. Sailor Moon and the Starlights ended up somewhere else in Galaxy TV with the Outer Soldiers. Sailor Moon realized that it was not a dream and she began to cry once again, but Sailor Uranus told her to stop crying. Neptune and Uranus left to fight Galaxia and the Starlights offered to help them, but they told them not to. Saturn and Pluto then followed Uranus and Neptune.
Galaxia was fighting Uranus and Neputne, but their attacks had no affect on Galaxia (Galaxia even broke Uranus' talisman sword). Saturn and Pluto then arrived to the scene to help them. Meanwhile, the Starlights decided to go and help them even though they might be killed. At the battle scene, Saturn threatened to destroy Galaxia by sacrificing her life. But Galaxia just laughed and told Saturn that she was the person who revived her as Sailor Saturn by awakening Queen Nehelenia. Galaxia then attacked them all, destroying Saturn and Pluto's weapons in the process. "Now you understand how powerful I am. But it's too late," Galaxia said. "Your destiny is to disappear after your star seeds are taken! There's still another way..."
"I'm glad to hear it," Uranus answered with a grin on her face. Neptune was surprised at Uranus' reply.
"It's easy," Galaxia said "...work for me!" Saturn and Pluto were shocked.
"What did you say," Pluto asked.
"Surrender your star seeds and swear faith to me," Galaxia replied. "If you wear these bracelets, into which I've sealed my energy, you can live without you star seeds!"
"That's the source of Galaxia's energy" Neptune said. Uranus looked very interested in the idea.
"Now choose," Galaxia ordered. "Surrender or die?"
"I'll choose death before I work for you, you devil" Pluto answered. Saturn began to speak, but was cut-off by Uranus:
"Sounds interesting," Uranus said. "If I wear those bracelets, I can live, right?" Galaxia nodded. "Working under Galaxia and becoming wild doesn't seem too bad." Uranus then looked at Neptune. "If I can be with you, I won't hesitate to sell my soul to the devil!" Neptune agreed. They both stood up and offered themselves to Galaxia. Neptune said,
"Uranus, we're together even in death!"
"Yes," Uranus replied. "See you in hell." Galaxia then shot Neptune and Uranus with her bracelets, took their star seeds, and gave them bracelets. Galaxia told them both to take the star seeds from Pluto and Saturn, and they did. As they faded away, Sailor Moon and the Starlights arrived. Galaxia then ordered Uranus and Neptune to take the others' star seeds.
Before they took the others' star seeds, Galaxia stopped them. She ordered Uranus and Neptune to show them all "reality", because they still believed in Uranus and Neptune and that Earth would be saved. Galaxia then disappeared. Uranus attack with "World Shaking", and Star Fighter tried to overpower it with "Star Serious Laser"... but it did not work, and Sailor Moon and the Starlights were all hit with the attack. Usagi then woke up in her school uniform, holding ChibiChibi. Ami, Rei, Makoto, Minako, Setsuna, Michiru, Haruka, and Hotaru were surrounding her. Haruka said it was over, and Michiru said that it was all an act. The others agreed and told Usagi it was part of their plan. Usagi then heard Mamoru and Chibi-Usa's voices. Usagi began to cry, she looked down... but when she looked up at everyone, they were all gone. Sailor Moon then woke up in Galaxy TV. Uranus appeared in front of her. She ran toward Uranus. "Uranus, please tell me the truth! You have a plan, right? I know! Everything is just an act!" Uranus slapped her across her face.
"This is reality" Uranus said. Suddenly, Sailor Star Fighter, Healer, and Maker appeared. "Did you finish your nap?" Uranus asked. Neptune then appeared behind them. "After all, you guys think too highly of yourselves! That's why you couldn't protect your princess!" Fighter got incredibly angry at Uranus and started to fight her. She punched her in the stomach, but Uranus punched her back with great force. "Let's end this now" Uranus said. Uranus and Neptune then attacked them with "World Shaking" and "Deep Submerge", and there was a huge explosion that knocked Sailor Moon and the Starlights out of the building. Galaxia appeared and ordered Uranus and Neptune to get their star seeds. Just before they did, they both turned towards Galaxia and shot her instead! But, she had no star seed and did not die! Galaxia then realized that Uranus and Neptune were pretending the entire time, looking for a way to attack Galaxia when she was vulnerable. Galaxia then took their bracelets, and they began to fade away. Uranus told Fighter to protect their princess. Uranus and Neptune then held each other's hands and disappeared.
Galaxia then revealed to them that she was the legendary Sailor Soldier who sealed Chaos. She then created a large, black, powerful sword. After telling Sailor Moon and the Starlights of her past and of her intentions, Galaxia tried to attack them all with her power, but they were able to dodge her attack. The Starlights then all combined their attacks ("Star Serious Laser", "Star Gentle Uterus", and "Star Sensitive Inferno") and were finally able to overpower and injure Galaxia. Galaxia became furious and struck back at the Starlights with great force. However, Sailor Moon tried to convince Galaxia to stop fighting. Sailor Moon also tried to heal her, but Galaxia destroyed Sailor Moon's rod before she could. The Starlights then protected Sailor Moon from Galaxia's attacks, but Galaxia was so powerful that the Starlights were almost killed. Before Galaxia delivered the final blow, Sailor Moon stopped her, but then Galaxia took Sailor Moon's star seed, which was the Silver Crystal. ChibiChibi-Moon then began to cry, and her tears created a pink puddle of water around her that let forth a bright light. The Silver Crystal returned to Usagi and she awoke. Galaxia asked if this was the awakening of the Light of Hope that she sent out before. A huge blast of light then appeared.
Sailor Moon was seen floating in another dimension where a woman with a soft voice spoke to her. The woman revealed herself to be the Light of Hope, and changed into a star seed. When Sailor Moon touched the star seed, she transformed into Princess Serenity, and the star seed changed into a sword. The voice told Serenity to defeat Galaxia with this sword (known as the Sword of Sealing). Galaxia then interrupted and tried to attack Serenity. The voice finally convinced Serenity to take the sword and defend herself. After Serenity escaped her attack, Galaxia's bracelets were destroyed, and Chaos took full control of her body. Wings, similar to those of a bat, grew on Chaos and she tried to attack Sailor Moon with her sword, as the Starlights watched on. The voice told Serenity to save the Galaxia and destroy Chaos, but Serenity didn't want to fight anymore. She defended herself with her sword, but she also accidently cut into Chaos' wing with it. Chaos became angry and destroyed the Sword of Sealing! It changed back into ChibiChibi-Moon who appeared to be dead. Chaos said that since the Light of Hope has been destroyed, no one can stop her. But as ChibiChibi-Moon disappeared, Serenity told her that nothing is gained by fighting. Chaos told Serenity that she does not have the pride and courage of a real soldier. Serenity replied saying "If a soldier's pride means hurting one another, I don't want it."
Serenity then became naked and told Chaos that she loved this world very much and that she won't give up. Her star seed, the Silver Crystal, appeared in a flower shape. A huge light emitted out of it as Serenity spread her wings. She flew towards Chaos, but Chaos used her power to try to stop her. Chaos was able to hit Serenity with her power, but the Silver Crystal's light stopped Chaos' attack. All the star seeds Chaos had taken were revealed and floated in the air. Chaos attempted to strike Serenity again, but suddenly, her sword shattered into pieces. The good Galaxia still inside Chaos said "I love this world." Serenity then flew towards Chaos and took her hand. Chaos then left Galaxia's body and vanished into the sky. The dark clouds in the sky disappeared and revealed the bright moon. "Thank-you Sailor Moon," Galaxia said. "Your shine lit up the Galaxy with that very warm, sweet light! Is Chaos gone?"
"I think it went back to where it belongs" Sailor Moon replied.
"Where it belongs?" Galaxia asked.
"Yes, back to people's minds" she replied with a smile upon her face. Galaxia then looked concerned. But Sailor Moon told her not to worry, because the Light of Hope is in everyone's mind! She then told Galaxia to guide the star seeds to their true owners. Galaxia then smiled, said her final "thank-you", and departed with the star seeds. The other Soldiers appeared around Sailor Moon and told her that she is not alone. Mamoru appeared with ChibiChibi. Sailor Moon began to weep as she hugged Mamoru. He told her that it was all over. ChibiChibi said thank-you and disappeared with a big smile on her cute face. Princess Kakyuu also appeared to the Starlights. Fighter then said thank-you to everyone.
Afterwards, Usagi, Mamoru, Ami, Rei, Makoto, Minako, Luna, and Artemis all saw the Starlights off to their journey home. As the Starlights flew toward their planet, Setsuna, Hotaru, Michiru, and Haruka say them. Hotaru said that they must be shooting stars. Setsuna asked Hotaru what she wished for, but she said that it was a secret. Hotaru then asked Setsuna the same question, and Setsuna said that it was a secret too. Hotaru asked Michiru and Haruka what they wished for, but they said that their was nothing to wish upon and that now was their happiest moment. Somewhere else, Usagi and Mamoru were gazing at the night sky. Usagi asked Mamoru if he loved her, and he said that he did. They both began to kiss, as Usagi's voice spoke: "I'm Tsukino Usagi, 16 years old, in the first year of high school. I'm a bit rash and a crybaby, but, I'm actually a pretty soldier of love and justice in a sailor suit, Sailor Moon!"
