Head Coach Bill Carll
Bill Carll guided the Warrior varsity program on two different occasions, from 1973-74 to 1978-79 and from 1983-84 to 1985-86. His ten years as the head coach in the program has resulted in an 89-34 record in league play --- capturing 3 Desert-Inyo League titles. Overall, coach Carll's teams have won approximately 150 games, ranking him #2 all-time in Warrior head coaching victories.Coach Carll has also served as the head coach in the Lady Warrior basketball program for 9 years --- capturing 6 league titles. This also includes a run of five straight championships (along with co head coach Dennis Ruggles) from 2003-04 through 2007-08.
Coach Carll has served the Tehachapi Unified School District since 1964 as a science teacher, physical education instructor, Vice Principal (at Tehachapi High School), and as a counselor at both the high school and the junior high school. In addition to coaching basketball, he has also been a head coach and a long-time assistant coach in the football program for many years. Coach Carll has been a mainstay in the Warrior athletic program for over 40 years.
