Under second year coach Bill Carll, the 1974-75 Warriors placed second in the Desert-Inyo League with a 10-3 record. The Warriors also enjoyed another winning season finishing with an overall 16-8 record.

Throughout the season, the Warriors were paced by senior guards Mike Thompson and Mark Lopez; forwards Ken Booker (6'2") and Mark Anthony (6'0"); and center Steve Denman (6'2").

During the pre-league season, the Warriors had a respectable December finishing with a 6-4 record. In the annual Rosamond Tournament, the Warriors defeated Trona and Rosamond to set up a championship showdown with the Kern Valley Broncos. The Warriors could not defend their tourney title from 1973, dropping a close 50-47 game to Kern Valley. Thompson and Booker were selected to the All-Tournament team. Thompson led Tehachapi with 32 points in the three games.

In the 7th annual Carpinteria tournament, Tehachapi defeated the host team, 46-38, behind Thompson's 14 points. But the Warriors lost their next two games to Notre Dame of Riverside and Santa Ynez. Thompson, scoring a team high 32 points in the tournament, was the lone Warrior selected to the All-Tournament team.

In other December games, the Warriors defeated the Quartz Hill JV's, Taft, and Fillmore, but lost a non-league game to Bishop in the high Sierra country, 57-56.

In league play, a key win for the Warriors was a 78-55 route of Kern Valley in Lake Isabella on February 7. Junior Ken Booker had a season high 29 point game to lead Tehachapi. The Warriors improved to 7-2 on the season, setting up a big game with Bishop the following night.

Bishop, the defending co-champions of the DIL along with Tehachapi, came to the mountain sporting an 8-1 record. The game was tied at the end of the 1st quarter, halftime, and at the end of the 3rd quarter. But Bishop pulled away in the closing minutes of the game to preserve a 59-52 win over the Warriors. Bishop went on to win the DIL in 1975 with an 11-2 league record; while Kern Valley tied the Warriors for second place at 10-3.

For the second straight year, Tehachapi advanced to the post-season playoffs, making a trip to Carpinteria. Carpinteria won the championship of the tough Tri-Valley League, while Fillmore finished in 2nd place, both teams the Warriors had defeated earlier in the season. Despite the 13 point effort of Thompson, the coastal Warriors eliminated the mountain Warriors, 51-41.

Booker led the Warriors in scoring with nearly 270 points, averaging 11.0 points per game. Thompson finished with just over 230 points and was the team leader in assists.

Thompson was the only Warrior selected to the all-league 1st team, while Booker was selected to the Honorable Mention team. Thompson was also named the MVP by the coaching staff.
