Rinoa caught up with Merle, and Merle told her that she and Van had been attacked by a cloaked figure with a mask.   Rinoa calmed Merle down, and the two took a breather, relaxing and smelling the flowers in the forest.   After a short break, they rushed to find Van & Larva battling it out.  Rinoa told Larva about the power of love and friendship, and he stopped fighting.  Everyone was happy.

Now that all four of them were friends, they stood together in the forest, taking in the beauty.  Larva was still a bit iffy on the power of love and friendship, but it seemed there would be no more violence.  The group joked and laughed, laughed and joked.  Everyone was chipper.  Suddenly, Rinoa had an idea.  She decided that the four of them run amuck in the hotel, having the most fun they'd ever had in their lives.  Everyone else agreed, and they set out on a new adventure.

First, they went into the courtyard, where Larva showed everyone his wonderful golfing skills.  "Wow," Merle said, "you're a better golfer than Tiger Woods, Larva!"  Rinoa blinked confusedly, then asked, "Who's Tiger Woods?  Is that the forest we were in?"  Everyone laughed, and they were happy.  Hole in one for friendship and golfing!

After a rousing game of golf, the four friends decided to go back into the hotel to cool down in an air conditioned building.  Rinoa went on ahead to save some seats.  On the way there, the other three ran into a bunch of other various heroes and personalities.  They decided to talk and laugh, laugh and talk.  After a lot of fun and frolic, they went their separate ways, and the four friends filed into the hotel.

As they entered the lobby, Merle caught sight of some prize tropical birds that Lord Halifax of the Chatsworth Halifaxes had on display.  Unable to contain herself, Merle took a bite out of one of the birds.  It was delicious, but for a price!  Lord Halifax was angry, and he smacked Van, Rinoa, and Larva down because he said they should be better role models.  Merle tried to apologize, but she could stuff her "sorry"s in a sack!
