Something about myself and my site

I am an independent documentary filmmaker and writer based in New Delhi, India. I had my school education at Jamia Millia, New Delhi, graduated from Aligarh University, and then took a postgraduate degree in Mass Communication from the Mass Communication Research Centre, Jamia, New Delhi in 1990. Since then I have been making documentary films and television programmes for various organization, mainly the Doordarshan (India’s National TV channel). Here is a list of films/TV programmes produced by me.

Amir Khusrau website is a result of more than three years of research (that I did along with my colleague and friend Iffat Fatima) for a series of documentary videos we wanted to produce on Khusrau’s legends and history. Some personal views on why I am developing this site.
