The Fifth Day

Genesis 1:20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

God made the living things, which move in the water and fly in the atmosphere, on the fifth day.

The waters of the earth were filled with all the types of animals and they would only produce after their own kind, so a shark would never produce anything other than a shark. Yes, there will be different types of sharks produced, but still they will be sharks.

Genesis 1:21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

"Great whales" is used for the Hebrew word tanni-yn, which really means sea dragon.

Some may say, "The dinosaurs did not live at the same time as contemporary animals." But fossilized whales have been found in layers of dead foraminifera (also called foraminifers or forams, phylum of unicellular marine organisms that extrude chitinlike shells, called tests, that form rich deposits of sedimentary fossils.) Some scientists have theorized that it takes "millions of years" to form these thick layers of chalk, yet whales, octopi, and other soft bodies animals have been found in them, telling us that these layers were created quickly, before these animals rotted! Also- Fossilized trees are found standing through multiple major layers of the earth's strata - leaving me to believe that these layers were formed from a massive flood. Again, human remains and "modern" animal bones have been found in the same rock strata as dinosaurs. More on this later....

Genesis 1:22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.

Genesis 1:23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
