Are there other cultures that 'remember' a world wide flood?

Here is the Kanji, with an analysis done by Satomi Miyahara Berry, who is a Japanese (born and raised) with a degrees in Japanese Literature and History.

"Garden"
"Far"
"Garden" without the English overlay
"Far" without the English overlay
Here we see two people below the "mouth" and "dirt" within an enclosure.
Here we see the same people who were in the garden, but now no enclosure.

Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Genesis 2:15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden ...

Genesis 2:21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

Genesis 2:22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

Genesis 3:23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

Genesis 3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

Why did God kill all flesh on the earth of that time?

The world had become very evil from the visits of the "sons of God" and God had become angry with man. ( Gen. 6:2-4)
These "sons of God" had sexual relations with the daughter of men and their offspring were exceedingly evil.

All flesh needed to be wiped off the face of the Earth, because they had intermingled with angels. Only Noah and his family were pure and perfect.

God told Noah what would happen to the Earth.

Genesis 6:7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

Genesis 6:8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD

God told Noah to build the ark.

Genesis 6:14 Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.

Here we see the word pitch being used, which is sap from a tree.

Genesis 6:15 And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.

Here we see God telling the size of the ark. Noah was about 500 years old at this time and he grew up in the pre-flood world, so it is very possible that he was much taller then 6 feet, maybe even 10 or more feet tall. (15 foot and greater human skeletons have been found) This would of made his cubit (The measurement from elbow to finger tip) much larger. But let us say that he was short and only had a cubit of 18 inches (very small). The ark would have been about 450 feet in length. It was basically a huge barge, with square corners and large anchor stones to help it in rough waters.

Noah and his sons finish the Ark, God brings the animals, a pair of each "kind" of animal, to the ark. God tells Noah to come into the ark, and God closes the door. The beginning of the end of that world has started.

Genesis 7:11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

This action alone would have brought down the frozen water above the atmosphere, but I have a theory that a planet existed between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter. God tore asunder that planet and pieces of it flew everywhere in the solar system, creating the craters we see on all of the planets today. So far, every solid solar system object that we have photographed has craters, The planets Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars, all the moons, and even the smaller objects all have craters, testifying God judgment. These pieces of that planet would have slammed into the frozen water suspended high above the atmosphere, causing them to crash down to the surface of the Earth. Also large meteors (less than 1000 feet in diameter) would have fallen through the atmosphere, hitting the Earth and causing the fountains of the deep to erupted violently, sending huge volumes of water high into the atmosphere and flooding the entire surface of the pre-flood world. These blows would have also caused the Earth to wobble as it states in Isaiah 24:20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard... then the tilt of it's axis would have changed from near 0 degrees, (in fact it is still wobbling slightly from this blow!) to 23.27 degrees, which is what we have today. The water fail from the sky for 40 days and 40 nights. The entire canopy of frozen water that was above the atmosphere would have collapsed. The mountains were under the surface of the water and all of the animals with Noah's family were safe in the ark on the water.

Genesis 8:3 And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated.

The mountains arose and the water rushed off of them and pooled in the valleys as we see in Psalms 104:8 They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them.

Look at the Hebrew from which Psalms 104:8 comes, and you will see, the words "Har aw-law'" which means "mountains arose" and "bik-aw'yaw-rad'" which means to rush down to the valleys or splits. What we see in Psalms 104: 6-9 is the action of the mountains raising up and the water flowing off of them and into the valleys.
