Football, baby! Ain't nuthin I find
more absorbing than a good game of pigskin. Monday Night Football
has seen ratings slide for the past five years but I wouldn't know it
(BUT too many commercials). Anyhow, there's something beautiful and almost war-like
about how teams
strategize and win/lose. Watch how one well-timed pump fake
coincides with a streaking WR's jab step to pull the Strong Safety a
half step behind the long bomb. Or watch how barbaric guys can get
when a tailback fumbles the ball! Ahh, you bumblin'
oaf! But we don't actually say, bumblin' oaf. Pandemonium!
Sheer-ly so.
The Tuck Rule is Stupid. I said it before and I'll say it again... this is San Diego's year, baby. Well, I guess not but they made a good show of it! <sigh> NFL Official Web. or Chargers Football. Congrats to the Buccaneers and John Gruden. Well-deserved.

That's the little secret of the Kim family tree. We've got a
streak of gangsta rappers birthing here and there. Rather than
deny it, I now wear it as a badge of honor. <wink> But

I love the solitary pleasure/challenge of long runs throughout downtown L.A. Few things can clear the mind and refresh you better than the steady, mind-numbing feel of a few miles. I love the whole idea of competing against yourself. On the final stretch of a run, I imagine being chased by the meaner, uglier, impatient, godless Daniel Kim. Call me psycho but that always makes me sprint just that much harder. For me, running really is a spiritual thing.
