Cloisters Road Muddy Lane Baldock Road

Sport dominates this view, from the former home of Letchworth Cricket Club at Muddy Lane on the
left, to its new home on the right, with St Christopher School in the centre, and the Willian Way 9-hole
golf course next to that.

But it is The Cloisters in the centre of the picture (move your mouse pointer across the image for links
to Andrew Miller's Guided Tour of Letchworth) that is the highlight - probably the most remarkable
structure in the town.

Letchworth - an otherwise small town in north Hertfordshire, England - is famous as being the world's first "Garden City", being founded in 1903 by Ebenezer Howard. Many social and planning innovations that we take for granted today first appeared in Letchworth. For more information on the town see here.
