Norton
Norton Village ]

Norton was one of the three villages that existed before the Garden City was founded (the others being Letchworth and Willian). As a result for many years it had one of Letchworth few pubs (the "Three Horseshoes"). It also has a small and attractive old church - St Nicholas - with its accompanying primary school.

Letchworth - an otherwise small town in north Hertfordshire, England - is famous as being the world's first "Garden City", being founded in 1903 by Ebenezer Howard. Many social and planning innovations that we take for granted today first appeared in Letchworth. For more information on the town see here.
