Company Profile

    Automation Software Engineering (ASE) was founded in March 1994, by the current Managing Director, Tony Bowen, to provide fully integrated system design, commissioning and training services in support of control and automation systems in a wide variety of applications. Operating initially from Hadzor Court in Droitwich, the company moved to its present Stockwood headquarters, near Redditch, in 1999.

The company is a technical leader in producing applications for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's) and  Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, and consistently achieves very high standards of performance with many projects delivered ahead of agreed deadlines.

ASE's services include; system specification and design,  software implementation,  system test and commissioning, documentation, customer training and service-support contracts. The company has the detailed knowledge, gained from working closely with control and automation  system manufacturers and end users, to design new systems as well as to modify or develop existing systems and applications.

ASE was named as the first Certified Integration Partner (CIP) in Europe for USDATA. The company is now one of a select number of Systems Integrators with a high level of technical expertise in integrating FactoryLink-based applications. In addition, the Company is a Registered Systems Integrator for Wonderware Intouch.

 ASE’s software design experience covers; materials handling systems, conveyors, sortation systems, machine and process control, supervision systems, bar-coding, real-time stock control, PLC networking and data communications.
