NEBULAE
Nebula (Latin : Cloud) is as a Cloud which consists of hydrogen and interstellar dust. Stars are born from Nebulae. Sun is supposed to be born from a Nebula about 5 billion years ago.Following are the details about some welknown nebulae.

ORION NEBULA:

Orion NebulaOrion Nebula is situated in the constellation Orion and can be seen in the Winter sky with a very powerful telescope. A group of stars called the Trapezium is seen at the base of the Nebula. Another nebula in Orion is nicknamed the Horse Head Nebula because of its appearance.

CRAB NEBULA:

Crab Nebula

The Crab Nebula is in the Taurus Constellation. It is also a gas cloud but is quite different from the Orion Nebula. It represents the end of the life of a star rather than the beginning. It is the graveyard of a massive star which died in an explosive death thousands of years ago.

RING NEBULA:

This is a planetary Nebula-it is a small hot star. The ring Nebula is visible near the star Vega of the Lyra Constellation. It can be seen with a powerful telescope. Scientists believe that it is also a kind of dead star.

CONE NEBULA:

Nebula in the Monoceros the Unicorn is the scene of star birth today. There are many young bright Tauri stars nearby, which vary erratically in brightness because they are still surrounded by swirling remnants of gas and dust.
