A DAY FOR
HEROES
For followers of Carlisle United, this game has now gone down in folklore. For a few brief hours it captured the attention of the nation and "that goal" was even shown on Tvs in America and Australia. Here are the stories of those that were truly involved in that day. The players and backroom staff, the seven and a half thousand fans at Brunton Park who could only sit/stand and wait and hope, and the many others who tried frantically to get details of the game and find out the result.
Thankyou
To Andy for allowing me to put this series of articles together and for the patience he and Chris McFarlane have shown with my constant question of "How do I upload it?" Most of all a big thank you to everyone who has sent in questionnaires. If you would like to fill in a questionnaire and share your experiences of the day please email me on: bumble.a12@virgin.net
