Desi
Is in 7th grade at Still Middle School. She is 13 years old, and has been in Steperettes for 3 years. Her favorite guard moment is, “meeting Mike (Mad Hatter) and annoying the heck out of him for the past three years and taking his “special” hat from him. Also, winning every competition. And last year at Sheboygan when we were playing partner tag and made Justin go in the girl’s locker room.” Her hobbies and interests include volleyball, cheerleading, gymnastics, dancing, shopping, and “of course, talking”. Desi’s most embarrassing guard moment was doing the wrong flag routine during her first year. In school, she is involved in volleyball and cheerleading. Her advice to new guard members is to, “practice, practice, practice! Listen to the music and think about your part in your head.” Desi says “thanks to Vicki and Howie for teaching me everything know. My parents for letting me join and putting up with the chaotic schedule. And most importantly Aubrey, Kimmy, Kirstie, and Mandy for making Steperettes the coolest it could possibly be. And last but not least the people who made our awesome costumes and flags.”
