Joy
Is an 11 year old 6th grader at Still Middle School. She has a sister, Renata, who is 12. This is Joy’s first year in Steperettes, and she has one year of previous experience in another guard. Her hobbies are bike riding, cheerleading, basketball, rollerblading, and dancing. Her interests include animals, sewing, and babysitting. Joy’s most embarrassing moment was “when I dropped my flag and wasn’t counting and missed my turn at the parent performance.” She is involved in the cooking club, sewing club, and drama club at her school. Her advice to new members is “if you miss a step, keep going!” Joys says, “I appreciate the patience that Vicki and Howie have in teaching us routines. I would like to thank my mom and dad for making it possible for me to be in Steperettes and my sister for her support.”
