Kirstie
is thirteen and in seventh grade at Still Middle School. This is her fourth year as a Steperette. She has four siblings, Kevin, Karrie, Katie and Jamie. Her favorite guard moment was winning three championships in a row. Kirstie has enjoyed playing volleyball and basketball for Still and also participates in Chorus. Her hobbies include playing piano, talking on the phone and hanging out with friends. Her most embarrassing moment was when they were practicing at Normal and she threw her rifle up and it landed on her face instead of her hands—ouch! Her advice to new members is”…at overnights, pretend to go to sleep when Vicki and Howie come in!!!” She wants to thank all of the parents and sponsors who helped support them. Also she wants to thank all of her instructors (Sarah, Katie, Julie, Vicki and Howie) for taking the time to teach them and to everyone who makes Winterguard fun!!!
