Talia
is thirteen years old and in eighth grade at Madison Junior High. This is her second year in Steperettes. Her siblings are Rachael, Ariel and Zach. Talia’s favorite guard memory was when they were at championships and they announced their highest score ever last year. Her hobbies include swimming, getting together with friends, movies and vacations. Her most embarrassing moment was when she dropped her flag in the beginning of a show and lost her place. Then she had to look at other people and copy them. She is involved at school with flags in the Memorial Day parade. Her advice to new guards is “…don’t panic if you drop your equipment in the first few shows, you are expected to.” Talia would like to thank her parents, her family, instructors, friends and teammates.
