~There is a place,
so far from here
where birds sing sweet,
and love is cheer.
There is a place,
far, far from here
where starshine kisses
the land so sweet.
And in that place
where moon-beams dance,
The sound the distant waterfall does sing
A melody, so rich, so pure
only the ears
of the Faery can hear.
There is a place,
a distance from here,
and the heart of fire
forever dwells there.~
Monday's child is fair of face
~Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go,
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child works hard for a living,
But the child that is born on the Sabbath day
Is bonny and blithe, and good and gay.
Boys and girls come out to play
~Boys and girls come out to play,
The moon doth shine as bright as day.
Leave your supper and leave your sleep,
And join your playfellows in the street.
Come with a whoop and come with a call,
Come with a good wil or not at all.
Up the ladder and down the wall,
A ha'penny loaf will serve us all;
You find milk, and I'll find flour,
And we'll have a pudding in half an hour.~
~Faeries they be
Light and little
Mischievous, Fun and Free
Ancient and wise
Magickal and Wonderful
Gossamer wings carry tiny bodies with the
greatest ease
Dimpled smiles peek from behind green leaves
Spirits so large, They glow outside their
form
Each time a baby laughs, a Faerie is born
Large bottomless eyes, to see everything and
all
Tricksters who push and catch in mid-fall
Miniature stars, sparkling in the dew
Make you sigh and your wonder ring true
They say, so I'm told
Each Faeries soul is as ancient as time is
old
And each night as the stars fall to the
ground
Tis the Faeries playing in the grass with a
leap and a bound
To catch a glimpse of this tiny marvel, one
must be clever
For it would be your soul tis blessed for
ever
Magickal and wonderful
Ancient and wise
Mischievous,Fun,and free
Light and little
Faeries they be~
