Michael appeared at the 29th annual American Music Awards yesterday to accept the AMA "Artist of the Century" award from his friend Chris Tucker. Sister Janet also got an award for best R&B/Pop female!

Michael has been nominated for a Grammy awards for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance (You Rock My World)! The Grammy awards will be aired on Wednesday, February 27, 2002 by CBS at 8PM (ET) from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA.
