Hello Grandma Jody

I have some things to tell you,
That will brighten up your day,
Making the dark clouds disappear,
With these words I'm about to say.

Butterfly kisses that you send me,
Forever flutter on my cheeks,
The prayers that you recite for me,
I can plainly hear you speak.

Your love for me made Heaven complete,
As you hold me in "Mine" favourite chair,
The warmth I've always felt from you,
With your tender arms of care.

We're forever together as I hear you read,
A story from one of our books,
But one of my favourite things of all,
Is watching Wiggles and how silly they look.

Did you know M&M's are in Heaven too?
And that they cover my Angel floor,
I just help myself whenever I want,
Never asking...."Can I have more"?

When I press my nose against Heaven's pane,
I see Jade surrounded by treats,
He wags his tail and then follows me,
Down Heaven's golden streets.

I never get tired here in Heaven,
So my friends and I all take turns,
We put Jade in the wagon instead of us,
A trick that quickly Jade learned!

I'm so happy that I have my tea set,
That you and I shared many a cup,
Now all my special angel friends,
Sit 'round and laugh as we sup.

Grandma...my most important words,
Are filling my little heart,
For me you must not blame yourself,
On that day when we did part.

It was God's plan..not yours or mine,
When He called my name that day,
No blame nor heartache to attach,
Grandma you must make it that way.
