Manfacturer: Philips Lighting Company
Philips still manufactures this 450 watt 230 volt lamp, in phosphor coated finish only. Clear versions were discontinued in the late 1980s. Although this lamp has the Philips brand, the design is 100% Westinghouse, and it was also manufactured shortly after the Westinghouse brand was dropped. Note the arc tube support has the same basic arc tube support as other Westinghouse (and early Philips) BT shaped lamps. Like the Duro-Test 750 watt lamps shown elsewhere, this lamp also has two ballast filaments wired in series, an unusual design since most have a single continous filament. Like most Westinghouse products, this is good stuff, quality-wise and are now desirable to lamp collectors.
